That was an excellent game and an argument in favor of never touching the NHL’s overtime format.

Lot of years of the Stars falling short too as of late….they’ve been knocking on the door for awhile now
Turned the game on after the score became 3-2. Wow what a finish
Edmonton Winnipeg, That would be an awesome conference final!
Had a friend tell me the Blues should have just fell on the puck in the corner when there was that scrum with about 10 to 12 seconds. Could have just mucked the last seconds of the game.
When you're A JET you're a JET all the way , from your first
hockey stick to your last power play , when you're a JET you
will do all that you can , you work for the fans , you're a family
man . . . G O J E T S GO ❗ 🇨🇦
Huge Blues fan here …. So please bear with me here. First off Congrats to The Jets. You were the Presidents Trophy winner for a reason. You guys are a damned good hard working team. Best of luck against Dallas. Now on to my Blues …. You guys made St Louis very proud. We knew going into Game 1 you guys would be a tough out. But we played toe to toe with you. For seven games and two overtime’s. Nothing to be ashamed of there. St Louis young guns got much valued experience. And we have Jordan Binnington going forward. So to the rest of the hockey world …. Watch out …. The St Louis Blues are back baby. The Blues will be a handful the next few years. For the first time since our Cup win in 2019 I can see another Cup coming to St Louis in the near future. Our future is bright. LGB !!!
The Finals might not be half as exciting as this series was.
Dallas vs. Winnipeg; no clear winner here as both had to jump over tall hurdles to get to this point. When you see what it takes to get to RD-2 anymore, it’s no wonder a badly-run franchise like Buffalo can’t reach Square One. 2022-23 seems like a lifetime ago.
Edit: Ehlers misfire was the biggest ever, as his dribbler was sent back to him for his cross-ice pass. If he’d got the shot off? Likely nothing happens, the puck hits eight pairs of legs and bounces away harmlessly.
Lowry was a MACHINE!!
The Stanley Cup playoffs are the absolute best and this is why. I love the first round of the NCAA Tournament but it’s not close to what the NHL consistently delivers. Great stuff.
Truly, over the course of the series, the Blues overall outplayed the Jets. But that doesn't matter. What matters is that the Blues are set to be top contenders for the next 5+ seasons.
2 seconds away … 2 seconds away (distant echos of "I want my 2 dollars!")
YEAH BABY!!!! GO JETS GO!!!!! Awesome game. I am a Winnipegger and lifelong Jets fan. I'll be 50 on Friday. I am also a Bruins fan since I was 13. I was a defenseman when I played and Ray Bourque was my idol growing up. This game, and the Bruins game 7 comeback against the Leafs in the 2013 playoffs, are the reasons why you should never lose faith. Although comebacks like these are rare, they do happen. My whole city is on cloud nine today. But now it's time to come back down to earth and get ready for Dallas. Before last night's game I was saying that even if the Jets win, I wasn't very confident in their chances against the Stars. But now I feel they have a good shot. If Hellebuyck has truly found his game, and it seems like he may have, then the Jets have a very good chance. If they play against Dallas how they played in the second period and beyond last night, they have a very, very good chance. I feel like a light turned on in the players heads last night and they now know what it takes to win in the NHL playoffs. Jets in 6. GO JETS!!!!
The Blues had a -3 goal differential in 5v6 situations, during the regular season. 10 empty net goals scored, vs 13 goals allowed. Worst in the NHL. It's pretty fitting that their inept 5v6 play led to their elimination from the playoffs.
You really maxed out your whiteboard. Eventually you'll need a bigger 1.
As a Blues fan I've never been so disappointed from one single game
So Hellebuyck isn’t the American Tuukka Rask after all?
As a Blues fan, watching this channel for the past week or two during the series, I've made a decision: I like Jets fans a lot more than Dallas fans. Well played series, good analysis, not a lot of animosity. Since the Blues aren't moving any further in the playoffs, I hope the Jets do.
Perfetti's first goal – I didn't know the laws of physics would allow a deflection like that…
The diatribe about the Titanic 😂. Bravo.
6 on 5 was the worst part of the Blues game all year. Led the league in 6 on 5 goals given up and never fixed it. Long live the note……. Stars in 5
Yammering is more entertaining than notes anyway
Most unreal playoff game for Jets since that comeback aganist the Oilers to win the series all those seasons ago. Just incredible, what a team, GO JETS
What a game. GoJetsGo from the Netherlands!!🇨🇦🇱🇺
Im commenting this late because its taken this much time to even acknowledge that hockey still exists. That was an absolute crushing defeat, i felt physically ill when the tying goal went in with 1.6 sec. left, so much so that i turned off the game and sat in a quiet shock until i fell asleep, i did not watch the overtime period(s) and when i woke several hours later schrodingers cat came to mind, and once i finally gathered enough courage, i lifted the box, the cat was dead. Damn, i thought 2019 exorcized these kind of demonic losses, smh …good luck to the jets (even though you killed my cat) and i gotta pull for the Leafs , one little glimmer of light, these Blues will be back to reak havoc for the next few seasons
Blues were the better team. Jets got lucky. The Jets will lose to Dallas.
This game was brutal as a blues fan. I went from being sure they won, to having to sit through 2OT. So disappointing.
As a Blues fan that was devastating. As a hockey fan that was awesome.
Proud of the Blues. I’m giddy about next season.
Congrats Jets! You’d better get that cup.
This was an absolute death sentence
You got the pressure thing all wrong – it wasn’t about odds, it was about the Jets finally breaking the curse of losing in the first round after 2018. So glad they finally did it! Either way, I loved your analysis of this game. Go Jets Go!
As a Saginaw Spirit fan seeing Cole Perfetti score that last second goal to send the game to OT was one of the most incredible moments I've ever had as a hockey fan.
