I watched this game, like I watch my 5 year old daughter play soccer. Yes, I want you to win, but I want you to try and work hard, far more. Leafs didn't disappoint.
Maybe my daughter shouldn't have been picking dandelions for 30 seconds
Maybe the Leafs could have been more disciplined in the 2nd period.
Overall, I'm okay'ish' with the loss.
But, the boys are still getting ice cream after the game.
Tough loss but the leafs I think have many a reason to be confident after that one. The panthers barely beat them at their worst of the series so far.
If we were told before this series started that the Leafs would be up 2-1 after 3 games, we would all be very happy. These are the defending Stanley Cup champions. They aren't going to give up.
I do believe the Leafs can win this series. Go Leafs Go!
congrats on your daughter taking her first steps, unforgettable milestone as a father. that being said… panthers in 6. leafs cant even use the help from the refs as an advantage to win the game. usually when teams have 2 powerplays in hand the refs dont let everything go from the powerplay in hand team. last night they did. thats despicable. leafs have never learned how to capitalize on getting assistance from the refs and its actually embarrassing

The Leafs being 0-9 with Wes McCauley officiating in the playoffs does not pass the smell test. That's as improbable as Pete DeBoer being 9-0 in game sevens. DeBoer is a REALLY good coach. I posit that McCauley is REALLY good at stacking the deck against the Leafs and somehow not making it obvious.

Hand it to the Panthers they came out hard and played well, I didn't like the charging head hit on JT though.. it's getting out of hand. First Stolarz, then Ekblad on Woll last game and now JT.. it needs to stop before someone gets seriously injured. Leafs still got a chance to put the choke hold on them in game 4, no need to panic.. The Leafs’ fought back in that game after they seemed to disappear. As someone who (I will admit) laughs at all the Leafs’ chokes, that was new to see. They do seem different, they do.

What I found hilarious. Is on yesterday’s podcast, you guys talked about how Marchand loves to score in the leafs, but he almost only seems to do it in Toronto. When you guys brought that up, I called it then and there that he scores last night in Florida. It was written.

Anton Lundell is a mini Barkov. Will he ever become as good as Barkov? Probably not, but he's a complete 2-way player and a ridiculously good 3rd line center. Also the leaf's suck, Nylander is the Core 4, the only good performers on your team are former panthers aside from Willy, Patches and Knies. Panthers are probably going to bounce you again, and we'll all have our yearly chuckle at this bag of nuts that is the leaf's fanbase. PS trade Nylander to another team so he can win a cup, he doesn't deserve this life of pain.
