At least he got something firm and concrete in Reno, which is more than we can currently for Fisher and the A's.
Hey Brodie, great video as usual, but before we cry a river of tears for Mr Meruelo for getting less than he asked for, if the amount approved didn't pencil out financially for him he would have walked away, just as he did in Phoenix/Tempe/Mesa/Glendale/Scottsdale
Reno: It's like Las Vegas, except for anything that makes Vegas what it is.
In Reno, "affordable housing" is code for EXPENSIVE housing.
I'm calling a flag on the play though: That area is already getting a Double-A hockey team. Doubtful that the region can support both both minor league teams long-term. Cmon kids, That area doesn't have that many people. That region is a Double-A market at best. Shouldn't have an AHL team there
This seems like too much subsidies for an AHL team. Doubt anyone is going to want to come to Reno to play or watch.
he could of got it done here in Phoenix if he wanted too , Hay Tucson stop going to Roadrunner games
