Welcome to hindsight on the Marner play that caused a goal. You could see he was tired and needed to change. He read that Benny and JT had the guy covered and he needed to get off. Whoever that was from the Panthers made a good play to poke the puck to one of his players. Yes, the Leafs lost, yes, you can be pisssed off, but one player does not cause the loss of a 5 goal against game.
Keep losing in the playoffs and your fans will start turning into Panthers fans ❤️

I'm not unhappy. The Leafs are doing the right things. The back end is the best I've seen and the forwards are standing in front of the net, something they haven't done in the past. You had three goals bounce off players in front of the net. Meh.

Surely you can not blame the goalie again. The defence was getting hammered all game which tells you the forwards were not slowing down the florida coming across the blueline. Mathews refuses to go to the dirty areas.

I started watching hockey again for the first time in years a few months ago, specifically following the Leafs. I had no idea who anyone was. What stood out to me was that Matthews was a scoring machine. He just put pucks in the net so easily. After the four nations tournament ended, it seemed to me that he just stopped scoring and often seemed really frustrated at some of his own misses. He's great in other ways, but his ability to score goals has almost disappeared.
In fairness… i shouldn't be too mad at you guys for just being radio men. They aren't winning anyway.

Fairly new to following hockey here. At what point is the puc out of play when the goalie is laying on it? Seems you can just dogpile the goalie to hope it dislodges the puc over the red?
I felt like they played well. Got some bad bounces, is what it is. They were battling for their lives. We are the better team ! Relax we have a great chance still

Can we have a Conversation of trading Matthews for Berdard or Mikko Rantanen? This isn't a hate on Matthews but the Leafs needs to look into the future and regarding the salary vs salary cap. The Leafs can't afford to loose their defense players. In addition, if Matthews goes, does Knies stay and continues to play like he does? Or does Knies wants to go with Matthews?
Way too negative imo, speaking like it’s 2-1 Panthers and there were no positives to be drawn. I’ll tune in for the wins I guess. They’ll laud Stolars, Willy and Knies relentlessly, and it’s often warranted, but I think they enjoy ripping on others.
