The Panthers lost Game 2 to the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-3 on Wednesday and trail 0-2 in the best-of-7 series.

Florida has never won a series down 0-2 and have not been in this position since the 2023 Stanley Cup Final.

Game 3 is in Sunrise on Friday at 7 p.m. (TNT)

Wednesday, Sasha Barkov gave the Panthers a 1-0 lead midway through the first. Florida led 2-1 early in the second after Brad Marchand tied it.

Anton Lundell made it a 3-3 game in the third — only Mitch Marner scored 17 seconds later for the 4-3 lead and the final score. Sergei Bobrovsky made 16 saves in the loss.

    Intelligent hockey! Next question;
    Having Bennett drive through the net contacting the head of two goalies with a sly intent of contact, is that intelligent kind of hockey you’re talking about?
    Have Americans not learned that you cannot win hockey as bullies?
    It took Matthews a month or two to understand in after returning from nations cup that realization, now he’s playing hockey at his best, that’s intelligence combined with skill.

    These issues wins games, anyone who knows how to win has narcissism within them to become the best, Jordan, James, Gretzky, Ovechkin, Brady should I go on?
    If you don’t believe you’re the best, it’s hard to become the best.

    I see Florida winning if they can defend next 2 games at home but Leafs as crazy as it sounds can sweep or split and end in 6ish or less. If I were a panthers fan watch out for Matthews as he plays better away in playoff games, florida will look to ice down nylander cause he is unstoppoble making Matthews even more suseptable to scoring.

    The Panthers have been enjoying success riding in the coattails of nepotism in Colin and Gregory Campbell so that the team can injure opponents with impunity. The classier team will now send them to the golf course soon.
