Trade up for Frondell he will be the steal of this draft he’s one of the younger players and already a top 5 pick playing in a men’s league… he could be a top 3 pick in the 2026 draft. trade with Utah to move back to 4 give them Risto or York and 6th and maybe even add a 2nd. I think he’s worth it. His shot is undeniable and he is surprisingly very physical .
Last year briere could have made a big trade package to CBJ for Demidov and he didn’t and then he trade Frost and Farabee for pretty much nothing. Laughton trade was good. But he needs to move up to get Frondell. Cause Desnoyer won’t cut it. Gotta pay the price for good players. Anyone but Michkov should be untouchable at this point tbh.

In regards to the angst around Hagens, isn't our fear surrounding BC misplaced, and shouldn't it be directed at Kurt Overhardt clients? I wonder if Overhardt advises Hagens. If not, I'm not afraid to draft him.

The reason why I say it’s fixed, is because the 2 picks that moved up were so low with the odds and not 1 but both ended up moving up. It would have been not so obvious if it was the Islanders that moved up then the Sharks at 2nd or sharks at #1 and then another team moved in at #4 but both, yeah okay not buying it I don’t trust no sport operations.

It's typical with what happens to the Flyers. The only draft lotto they sort of won was #2. How many did Edmonton win, 4? It's just frustrating more than anything.

Flyers draft history has been full of mistakes over the years i wonder if Briere and Jones know what they are doing.The next 2 seasons will make or break the team. 35M to spend next Summer in Free Agency lots of opportunity to improve.

Charlie's Ivy League education likes the analysis of the draft. I would have liked the Flyers win the lottery and got the best player and then analyze how the Flyers woud use that player.

If McQueen somehow fell outside the top 12, I would move every single pick after 6 to go up and draft him. Walk out with what you think is a safe center in Desnoyers or Frondell, and then take a huge swing later.

for the rebuild to work, Danny will have to draft well, but more importantly he will have to sign or trade for a number of good players. San Jose has a much better chance to have a good team in a year or two after getting Celebrini and Misa (or Schaefer) than the Flyers getting Luchanko and whoever this year. How did Hextall make out in rebuilding through the draft 10 years ago?

no more picking kids with injury history, most of us were scared about Nolan Patrick and look how that turned out. Waste of a #2 when there were enough red flags to move on.
We should take Mrtka at #6 if Hagens/Frondell aren't there. 6'6 frame and is Sanheim 2.0 just needs to bulk up a bit. They should take a swing on Mcqueen in the 12-16 range if they can trade up with Colorado pick. They should trade up again with the Edmonton pick and take Ravensburger. 6'6 Defensemen, 6'5 Center, 6'5 athletic franchise goalie. We need to add size with skill this year!
