Well, that was quite the game. Now the series shifts to Edmonton.

reminds me of the 19 final when accari got tripped in game 5
To the Vegas coach and players upset about the missed call on Arvidsson, all I can say is: have fun golfing guys. Best of luck finding Jack Eichel's jock strap. Buh-bye.
I’m just here to see all the “Oiler fans” posting about how calls were missed on both sides. At some Point Oiler fan you need to come to grips with the league wants your team to win the cup.
Someone got a penalty for cross-checking someone in the face? They can do that?
– a Habs fan
How many posts did oilers hit this game? Quite a few
We're getting Toronto vs Edmonton in the finals, right?
There was also a blatant interference on McDavid by Stone which stopped a dangerous chance for Edmonton, so if Vegas fans really think it was lopsided refereeing, idk what to tell ya.
Not to mention the goalie interference that shook up Pickard, and the knights scored the next play after while he was still shaking out his leg.
It was a penalty.
It was missed.
Story of every losing team since time and memorial.
Mcdavid plays a game where only 10% of penalties against him get called or else the ice would be too tilted.
Its over for my Knights.
Great aeries so far! I know he's not popular with a lot people but Corey Perry is having a great playoffs
You can really tell when he's on the ice stirring things up/
It's interesting to watch McDavid vs Eichel, This is the year McDavid's Oilers get the Cup!
Lay it ON the line!!! Go Oilers!!!!!!!
The hockey gods even the game out, missed calls happen every game.
mcdavid I think was responsible for 75% of the Oiler's giveaways / 75% of the Knights takeaways. McD was an absolute liability whenever he attempted to carry the puck thru the nuetral zone…… until the last play of the game
As an Oilers fan, I'm not taking any victory laps yet. The LA/Oilers series was 2-0 LA and Vegas absolutely could turn it around.
Pickard is playing phenomenally, at least 3 times last night I was like “yup the knights scored” but Pickard just kept stopping them
As an Oilers fan all I have to say is SUCK IT VEGAS 😂 Bout time the NHL stopped favouring and protecting your franchise lmfao. Cancun is ready for you guys after game 4 🖕🏻
The Oilers seem blessed. When they've played bad and deserve to be down by 2-3 goals they're only down by 1. When they need a goal (or 2 or 3), they get them. When they need a power play or penalty kill, they get it. When they need role players to step up, they do. Look at Connor Brown, Corey Perry (at 40), Evanader Kane (out all year), etc, etc. It's just mind boggling how many things seem to be going their way. Im not necessarily an Oiler fan but I empathize with the heartache they've felt in the recent past. Some would argue that McDavid & Dri deserve the Stanley cup, maybe they do, but they sure seem like destiny is looking favorably on them.
I think Eichel not tripping McDavid as he enters the zone on the gwg was a big mistake. The refs demonstrated they weren't going to make a call. Refs are telling you to take McDavid's legs out, but I understand its hard to overcome years of not trying to take a penalty there. NHL playoff refs shouldn't be getting paid to watch playoff games (linesman do a ton of work and need to be paid though).
Absolutely was a missed call but that happens sometimes. Happens to oilers all the time. Vegas is the least penalized team in history. It’s nice to see they can get screwed like every other team sometimes
The ice was awful in both games. It's going to be a much different game in Edmonton. McDrai are going to break out
Am i the only person who wishes people would chant something more creative than "ref you suck"
First time listening to your excellent presentation.
Will be interesting to see if Vegas can come back
Just saying: Roy's crosscheck in the face (2025 game 2) and Pieteragelo's slash on Draisailt's hand that actually broke his hand in 2023, etc, etc etc
As a vegas fan vegas is 10000% cooked this series, nobody is showing up, and when someone does somebody else is getting finnessed and losing them the game. Oilers in 4
“…a little unpredictable…”😂😂😂😂😂
Missed call cost Vegas the game. I am not going to accuse officials of not being impartial but that was pretty bad.
Bettman and Co. set the stage for cross checks in face by sending the message that if you pass it off well enough anything goes. The Stone "whoops" on Heiskenan, the Bennett "whoops" on Stolars. We're only gonna see more of this crap.
Every sports fan has had their team on the receiving end of bad no calls that leads to them losing big games. I know that was a missed call and it feels a little dirty winning right after it, BUT you gotta take them when they benefit your team once in awhile…
EDM v TOR SCF!! please god it would be so funny. Bettman would have an aneurysm
Roy should get a few games suspended , no different cross check than McDavids 3 game suspension against Vancouver.
This is the type of game that people forget when they say Bettman loves the Knights lol
Two things. Roy did not say he tried to hit the puck. Where did you hear that? Nobody in Vegas has heard this. Two, Arvidsson’s and McNabb’s skates were not tangled up. That’s not what led to the trip.
Vegas crying about penalties not called is so much joy actually. They are the least penalized team of the whole league constantly. Especially in the playoffs.
So true about how hard it is trying to defend against McD and Leon, over a 60 minute game including OT all it takes is one shift and the puck is in the net
McDavid hung Eichel out to dry…that was great
So, somebody please explain. If two skates get locked together, how do the refs know who to assign the blame for it? Furthermore, why is that even a penalty. A trip is when a skate or leg or stick is placed in front of the opponent to take him/her down…In a game full of high sticks (EDM – keep 'em down, even the play is whistled dead guys!) and thrown sticks (VGK), that would be the kind of penalty I would lose my mind over. Don't cry for Vegas. They had quite enough home cooking in this game…Is it just me, or did the Oilers take their collective feet off the gas in the latter half of the 2nd?…
Why are people crying foul over just one missed call? Both sides have had calls go against them and same in other series, and guess what, it ALWAYS happens. Oilers won. Move onto the next. Saturday night in Edmonton is going to be 🔥 LFG Oil
Today I learned that cross checks to the teeth are a penalty, always so much to learn for NHL hockey! Signed, a Habs fan.
I. dont care about the missed call. Vegas should have been on the PK when they tied the game. Hertl fell into Picard. No sympathy here for vegas tears about 1 missed call
war and peace on that whiteboard… lol
Seeing Mark Stone complain about losing a defenseman when he's the reason Heiskanen isn't playing is peak karma.
Our powerplay hasn't been great all year for some reason
PEOPLE KEEP TALKING ABOUT THE MISSED CALL…BUT WHAT EVERYONE IS MISSING IS THAT THE VEGAS PLAYER TRIES TO TURN AND HIS SKATE DOESNT TURN WITH HIS BODY AND TOTALLY STOPS AND ITS HIS OWN MOMENTUM THAT TAKES HIM INTO THE BOARDS…HE TRIPPED … AND MAYBE THE REFS SEEN IT THAT WAY
Media responding to bad call against literally any other team: that's hockey, it's on them to respond.
To a bad call against Vegas: OMG poor babies, this is so unjust, how dare the refs do this to them!!
🙄
Sure has been a lot of refs sucking this year big time in all series in each game. Maybe fans are onto to something. I was hoping at 4-2 Edmonton that a role reversal was going to happen. Oilers finally leading a game and chock. 4-4 I got excited. Saw the miss on the high stick on Eichel in the 3rd as well no call. Pickard got ran over in net as well. No matter how injured he was he wasn't coming out and giving the net to Skinman.
Without Pickard, this game is Vegas, despite letting in 4; he saved the Oilers bacon so many times.
Pickard is the Oilers mvp right now. He's seeing the puck very well and gets into position quickly. They only score on him right now unless they have an extra man or get a deflection
Sorry THG, but missed call this missed call that Edmonton has not played a game this postseason with more PP opportunities than their opponent. Enough said. Vegas can’t score 5v5 and got away with a lot this game.
