Bo Horvat. I know he’s 30. But he’s 6’1” 215, is a 50-60 point lock and he was 58% from the dot. I feel like he’d be perfect to centre Demidov.

Bo Horvat is a good solid guy. A real steady Eddie. He's a former captain and a good leader. The Canucks may try to get him back though. Stamkos is a natural to go after with the connection to St Louis and Lecavalier. Maybe Dach would improve with a bonafide scorer like Demidov with him.
Kirby Dach has great hands if he comes back I would like to see him on a line with Demidov I like those odds since now we talk a lot more on betting.

Easiest fix, trade for Crosby. Flank'em with Demidov and Slaff and give Flo a look with Suzuki and Caufield. But short of Crosby, this is still the basic formula I would like to see. Horvat, Slaff and Demidov would also make a nice line. With all of the talk this season about Slaff playing more like Tktchuk, Flo has a lot of those needed ingredients as well. And I love the idea of having one on each of the top two lines
THEY NEED A CENTRE.
It will be difficult to attain a 2nd line center. We will definitely have to overpay. And if we expect to get a player that will make an impact, we can expect we will have to give up someone. Having said that, I trust Hugo.
I like Shane Wright. He's more mature now and has shown he is a legit centre. Offer them a 1st rounder and a dman plus another pick.
But, maybe our number two is in Laval right now.
