Brutal series for Makar. Absolutely terrible. How many missed nets and broken sticks did he have? 1G and 4A in 7 games. Hope he bounces back but it’s hard to see him as the best D man in the league with that performance.
The refs aren’t going to be able to save them next round. If you want to argue – Wes McCauley was the ref – look up the Stars playoff record when he is assigned.

"Management did incredible job to put in a position to have a good chance of winning" This guy very likely backstabbed Rantanen and was asked by front office if it's OK to trade him. And Makar gave his OK becaus a promise of a better contract extension if Rantanen was to be traded.

The Power Play is the biggest reason this team lost this series. It was never consistent the entire season.

Avs fans seem like a bunch of very critical jackasses. Sorry for the good guys in there.
Ice hockey is a game that can go either way, these teams were still even after 6 games and 2 periods..it doesn't come down to a single player or a couple players. Just accept you lost. Its sports.
Remember Makar's incredible run in the '22 playoffs? What happened to that player? Was he injured? The Avs lost plenty of series with Mikko, so we can't say this loss was solely attributed to him. Also, Dallas would've been even better had Miro and Robertson not been out. To me, the biggest problem is the 2nd D pairing. Girard gets owned in puck battles due to his size, and Manson has lost whatever he used to have. The 2 of them combined are a huge liability.
