The Jets just made NHL Playoff history

Last night, Winnipegs Cole Perfetti made NHL Playoff history! In a thriller of a game 7 between the St.Louis Blues and Winnipeg Jets that went to double overtime and produced one of the craziest NHL Playoff comebacks in history, Cole Perfetti scored the latest game 7 tying goal in NHL Playoff history to push overtime after the Jets came back from a 2 goal deficit with under 2 minutes to go to push Overtime. This was a remarkable series and a fantastic end to what was a wild first round of the 2025 NHL Playoffs. Connor Hellebuyck was a major story line, Josh Morrissey getting injured was another as Pionk was sensational filling in. Lowry scored the eventual game winning goal but I cover it all and more in todays NHL hockey video!

  1. Had a very busy weekend due to some family matters, so apologies I was MIA during this weekend's INSANE Game 7's. Wanted to get this one up though! Thanks for watching 🙂

  2. I’m from South Carolina. I didn’t have a dog in the fight for this game, but man, I feel all the emotions for both teams!!!

  3. Big props to the blues for such a great series. Especially Binnington, he was an absolute wall. The only thing going in were tips.

  4. The jets are the best! You may not know them, but your going to learn to love them, because they are the deepest team in the playoffs!

  5. Go back and remember now that the Jets were 20 seconds away from playing either Minnesota or Calgary if Minny doesnt score a game tying goal and go to OT and get a single point in their final game of the season… Then the Blues would have played Vegas, and we would have played either Minny or the Flames and it turns out it likely would have been the flames…

…but with that said, had minny not scored with 20 secs left to tie their final reg season game and go to OT, then the pressure would have still been on the flames to win both their final games, while they were down a couple goals to vegas in the third of game 81… They found out in the second intermission their playoff hopes were over, they then almost immediately tied game 81 up with a couple quick goals to start the third, and ended up winning that game, along with their final game of the season against LA…

…But both of those results could have been different if the pressure was still on calgary… But.. ya… Just wild…

    …Hockey is wild sometimes…

  6. Detroit Redwing fan here! One of the most exciting games I’ve watched on the CBC🇨🇦 “Go Jets”

  7. Im a Winnipeg Native but i live in Michigan regrettably working 3rd shift nursing so i thought i would miss the whole game. But then i got to check in by second Ot and watch the win after all my patients had been settled… I got so excited i scared the other nurses at the station

  8. Born and bred Winnipeger. This series encapsulated our emotions into a single game from dread and despair to the insurmountable highs we felt on the game tying goal. Blues were probably the worst/best match up in the 1st round for us. 2 dominant teams at home that played with their lives on the line (minus helle). Be proud Blues fans, you were strong. Only up from here with Monty.

  9. Oilers fan here so had no dog in this race. I have now watched the actual game, and three different videos on this game, and I get chills and tear up everytime😅😂 SO DAMN AWESOME.

  10. I'm from Winnipeg, but I reside in Michigan and work third shift as a nurse, so I assumed I wouldn't be able to attend the entire game. However, after all of my patients were settled, I was able to check in by second OT and witness the victory. The other nurses at the station were frightened by my excitement.

  11. Who was the guy that was driving towards the hash marks for a wide open shot on Hellebuyck and his stick broke as he wound up to take the shot? Was that Broberg? It was around the middle of the first OT. I think that’s when it started feeling like the Blues didn’t have another goal in them.

  12. All the dirty hits, the deliberate attempts to injure, the cheap shots the Blues took? All the times the Refs said "Oh it's OK to crosscheck, board, spear, charge, slash if it's on a Jet"? (Scheifele was crosschecked to the HEAD 5 times in one game! NO CALL! Even the ESPN crew couldn't believe it. To. The. Head.)
Bettman and his Zebra Stooges couldn't lift the Goons of St. Louis over our Jets!
Now, with 2 of our very best injured deliberately? It's an even harder row to hoe. I honestly don't think Dallas is a Goon Team like the Blues are, but if the Refs let them get away with murder? It could get really ugly really fast.

  13. Winnipegger born and raised.. Living in Egypt now and watched this game starting from 2am local time here so it was around 6 am when the winning goal was scored. I think I woke up King Tut with my cheering!

  14. Note: refs were very very terrible this whole series but this was the worst officiating I’ve ever seen

  15. May 4th 2025 NHL Play Offs Round 1 Game 7 Jets vs Blues for me is now the single best game of hockey I have ever seen and I am not really a Jets fan or a Blues fan. Good Luck to the Jets in Round 2 do Canada proud.

  16. There is so much to say
I’ll try and keep it short
But man, what a series blues are my number 2 team so no matter what happened I wasn’t gonna cry over this (although I adore the Jets). What a series by the Blues certainly not an ordinary wild card team they were spectacular. If Jets had Binnington in this series it might’ve been over in 5. He’s one of the greatest playoff risers OAT. However I’m more than happy they have Helle. I love this Jets team so much and I want to see a deep run! This team is soooo likeable and if the win the cup I will shead tears

For Blues fans. I love the Blues and they will most certainly be back sooner rather than later. Binnington is the GOAT playoff risers (Love the guy when he’s not playing the Jets) and the rest of the team is so damn good! I wouldn’t be surprised if the Blues get cup #2 before 2030. Although unlikely I love the team as much as 2019 (my favourite team OAT)

  17. Dallas did it first with mikko setting a nhl record for first player with a hat trick in the 3rd period. Wonder why no mention of that. It's cool dude.

  18. As bad as this is for Blues fans, it's not as bad as the Yzerman goal in double OT of the 7th game of the second round back in 1996. The Blues team that year was at its peak. The Blues team of the present has bare;y scratched the surface.

  19. After that pop in 2OT…I think they best be gettin a structural engineer to look at the roof of Canada Life Centre…fairly certain it may of been disturbed at that moment!

  20. I was watching it with my family and we were all dissapointed with about 30 secs left. I was on my phone then looked up and saw 5 seconds left. I got up off the couch to go to bed. Then i hear "OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH THEY TIED IT!!!!"

  21. Didn't the Vancouver Canucks had a goal scored in 0.2 second, faster yes. This the meaning of hockey. 3-3 who ever takes it wins takes the series.
