Joel Quenneville is ‘grateful’ for another chance to coach | ‘The Point’

Joel Quenneville joins John Buccigross on The Point to discuss being hired by the Anaheim Ducks. Quenneville speaks about resigning from the same role with the Florida Panthers in 2021 after an investigation into allegations that Chicago Blackhawks video coach Brad Aldrich sexually assaulted player Kyle Beach during the team’s 2010 Stanley Cup run.

  1. Merci pour votre ouverture d'esprit ! Comment décidez-vous des vidéos à fournir gratuitement et de celles à rendre payantes ? 💞✨

  2. I’m a Blackhawks fan and I think he deserves a 2nd chance more than Bowman. What happened was an organizational failure and he is less responsible than the people at the top. As long as the Ducks have a strong culture in place, there is no reason this can’t be successful. I hope he learned from his cowardly behavior and I will be rooting for the Ducks to make a splash in the playoffs in the future.

  3. How can pat and the owners expect the players to trust him… he didn't protect his players. Yes players plural because there was a 2nd victim on the blackhawks who never publicly came out like beach did

  4. "Every time I think I'm out they pull me back in" 😆
Coach Q is a great coach. He was well liked and respected in St. Louis. Too bad the Blues crappy upper management made him the fall guy for their stupid team building decisions.

  5. Ive been saying for a while that the Ducks are in that group right below the Wing, Canadiens, and the Sens, but in the future, I'd steer clear of saying they can't wait to get their hands on those guys, lol. Anyone else catch that?

  6. Absolutely good news for Coach “Q” and his family. Knowing Anaheim Ducks they probably low balled the Coach. Wait and see. GR8 news!!

  7. Happy for coach Q obviously what happened was horrible but he’s been out of the league for a couple years had time to learn from his mistakes as he said and I think he’s one of the best hockey coaches to ever be behind a bench I mean the resume speaks for itself over 900 wins multiple Stanley cups success in multiple orgs has experience and wisdom from 1700+ games as a coach and over 800 games as a nhl player if any deserves a second chance it was him imo seems like a good guy who made mistake and nobody’s perfect so I wish him nothing but the best coming from a wings fan
