Here's my hot take, I want NO ONE from he Capuano era on this team next year. I am tired of this "afraid to shoot", "pass first" mentality that has its remnants show up at the worst time during play even 10 years after. We need to change and be an attack first team. Fast skating out of the D zone with quick shots to the goal. This is modern hockey.
it was another great trade orchestrated once again by the Great Lou Lamoriello. everybody on the interzones claims they have this inside knowledge of what Lou wanted to do etc.. you know nothing-stick to video games and living in your parents basement.
brock trade for us a total win but for colorado a TOTAL FAILURE because colorado thought brock would be one of the players to put them over the top and win the stanley cup this year which obviously did not happen. By the way trading away devon toews ws a absolute DISASTER.

No way I would sign Nelson back.
If the Islanders traded Palmieri, they might not have ended up with the first pick. They were in the right position where they ended up.
The fact that we did the trade with Colorado feels better as it's some payback for the Toews trade
We won't see Ritchie in the NHL for 2 or 3 years.
But…but…not getting a 2nd for Palms was an execution worthy offense, & here it’s “3rd rounder no biggie”. The rebuild freaks are the worst.
