you know, when you have uh almost two weeks off in between games, what’s the approach in practice uh leading into next week? Uh yeah, just uh practice really hard. Practice like you would play and uh yeah, it’s hard maybe hard for the for the mind to to look uh ahead, but you just want to play so bad. But um just uh trying to go day by day and practice hard uh to be prepared. How fun was last week’s series and how fun really has just this entire playoff experience been? Yeah, really fun. Uh it’s a little bit weird now when we had like one week off now. Uh so you don’t you didn’t lose the playoff feeling, but it’s a little bit weird. You you don’t really know if you’re still in it or not, but it’s uh yeah, but it was really fun. first series we played some good hockey and yeah looking forward to next game. You know, it’s a little weird right now. How do you guys get yourself back into that rhythm of that playoff atmosphere? I don’t think it’s going to be hard at all because uh now we’re just waiting and waiting and you just want to play so bad. So, it’s going to be uh yeah, we probably going to be even more pumped up. Well, as a captain, how how is he as a leader in general, but how do you feel like he’s kind of approached this playoff experience with you guys? Oh, great. You know, he Yeah, just a great leader off the ice and on the ice. You see the the third game we had against Syracuse, he scored two huge goals uh and played Yeah, just played really hard for us and uh I think the whole team did that. But, you know, it’s it’s great to see a leader, your captain doing that in a Yeah. in a series winning game. So, it it was great. Yeah. Staying fresh. You don’t think it’ll be tough to get back into the groove on the ice, but how are you away from the ice keeping your mind occupied because there is so much time? Uh, yeah. I mean, I don’t think we can have a little bit of fun. uh you know play some golf maybe and uh you know get the group together like that. So I think it’s good good for the bodies too if someone had anything. Uh so I think that’s that’s a good thing. So it’s it’s probably a good thing but you just want to play so yeah. Okay. Are you movie night tomorrow? Uh probably not. No, no, that’s fair. Yeah. No, I heard not my thing. I think Yuri just adjust to being back here after the season ended in Buffalo. Yeah. No, it’s been great. You know, coming down with a lot of energy and uh you know, he’s obviously a really good player and he’s been really good for us all three games. Uh he also had a really uh important goal in the I think it was second game or first on the power play there. We went up two nothing. Uh yeah, second game and uh yeah, we played solid after that. You know, that’s uh when he’s going to step up in those moments and uh uh you know, it’s great to have him. Yeah. Do you notice in his game the development that this year in the NHL did for his game? Of course. Uh I think you can see it. uh you know just the the speed and also like uh he plays with more intensity I think all over the ice he wins uh more battles uh and just u relentless on the forche and also in the D zone good at ending plays I think that’s been one thing he’s doing really good up there and you can see it uh here now as well one more just what have you noticed that concept over the course of the year the about uh you know it’s yeah I talked about a lot of times I think with me and Yuri and Noah and Wahberg too like it’s uh first year is tough you’re young and it’s a new new environment new country and everything so it’s really hard and tough to maybe uh not live at home and and stuff like that but you know it so it takes some time and I think that’s what it did to me and Kulie as well and Noah uh you saw saw as well. Uh but yeah, just uh really happy for him. He started playing more uh harder and you can see that he’s getting more offense after that and uh just uh yeah, we know he has the skill so like it’s just u you’re just waiting for it to happen and I think he’s playing really good for us now. So it’s fun to see.
