  1. Welcome 👏👏👏 great guy and coach 👍 win for the Rangers!! let´s go Rangers!! 💪❤💙

  2. Only this so called top NHL organization can repeatedly have a press conference and YOU CAN'T HEAR THE QUESTIONS ASKED BY THE REPORTERS! TOO CHEAP TO HAVE A MICRAPHONE

  3. Never heard Mr.Drury speak so much before ..would take an educated guess and say he is the most excited about prospects of working with Coach Sullivan ..LGR !!

  4. Jesus Christ….Well, if you're into corporate coaches and saying all of the 'corporate' things, this is a home run. If you're looking for a little reality, this is typical fluff and gives me no indication that either Dolan or Drury know what it takes to build a champion. Dolan is not a champion. He is a guy who won the lottery of life and his arrogance and inability to separate his friends form his employees keeps them in this endless morass that they find themselves in.

  5. 12:00 I still think Dolan made it happen…. NYR fans bleed blue! Mike, please stop the bleeding. btw, what is Drury always pissed about?

  6. The organization still will not be able to develop young talent only buy talent. This is a big problem

  7. Sully, do yourself a favor and get rid of that core. Some of them are a cancer in that room and brought all the young guys down with them. They're sensitive and soft. Talent alone doesn't win in the playoffs. Fierce battles? That's a joke. This core is soft. This group of players needs to be changed.

  8. Vince, why the hell do Rangers fans care his reasoning for parting ways with Pittsburgh? Ask a tough question like a questions about that soft sensitive roster.

  9. No questions about assistant coaches, system of play, need to develop young players?

The MSG/NYC/NHL media [sorry Mollie and Larry] sucks. There aren't mics for them because Dolan has disdain for them [and the NBA crew] and rightly so.

They are agents of negativity and almost always feed discord among the Ranger players. Having worked as an Assistant under Torts, Sullivan knows their [the press], and he's smart and experienced enough to be on guard with those reporters.

Fans will be happy with effort on the ice and winning; the Coach, Drury, Sather, and Dolan understand that's the bottom line.

    Welcome to NYC, Sully!

  10. He's no Iron Mike Keenan that's for sure. As long as Mike "Contractual Obligation" , CK, Miller, and the other dead weight are off this team, it'll be the same old same old.

  11. If Sullivan's stock and reputation as a coach hasn't declined by the end of his tenure here, I'll be very surprised.

  12. I have NO idea how anyone is excited about this – Sully is a great coach – but if people don’t get that it doesn’t matter who’s behind the bench then they’re clueless. It’s not like they haven’t had good coaches – AV, Gallant, Laviolette – like them or not, all great coaches – the problem is the TEAM – they’re soft, lazy, entitled fucking worked whiners and might be the worst group of talented but no-heart clowns I’ve ever seen, ever.

  13. Sorry sully but you dont have the horses to be competitive, hell we traded away the better players to keep the stiffs. How about a defenseman who can clear the crease,oh wait we had one in trouba, how about a big center oh wait we had one with buchnevich and we traded and got sammy blais haha, a number 2 draft pick who got little ice time and is playi g out west and doing well, but we have a number 1 pick who has done next to nothing and we give him a monster contract, as long as drury is running the ship 5th place finishes will become common. I am 66 yo and i told my sons in 94 to enjoy this because it my be the last one we see. I sure hope im wrong

  14. News flash the Rangers were an embarrassment last year not because of their coach but the soft players.

  15. Successful coach…with Crosby, Malkin, etc.. Let’s see what he does with a group that simply gave up this past season.
    Not optimistic.
