NHL News: Habs, Rangers look to make moves, Isles & LA GM searches

In today’s edition of “The Latest” with @kpettersen, David Pagnotta touches on the Montreal Canadiens off-season plans and their desire to get tougher and add a second-line centre.

The duo also explore next steps for the Los Angeles Kings, who are now in need of a new GM.

Then, Pagnotta explores what moves the New York Rangers may look to do this summer, with limited cap space, and could we see the likes of Chris Kreider, Mika Zibanejad or even Artemi Panarin on the move?

Finally, they provide upgrades on the New York Islanders, who won the 2025 NHL Draft Lottery, and their search for a President and GM.

  1. Stronger and tougher for Montreal does not help as this coaching staff does not value this its a huge downfall the Canadians coaching staff look at Laval a much better coached team

  2. LA looked very strong this year and have 20 million in cap space.

Rangers were a dismal failure by all accounts and have no cap spaces

How does Drury still have a job, when he can’t even manage cap space ?

I feel bad for Rangers fans, who coincidentally fired Gorton who’s done a fantastic job with the Habs and slowly flushing out some hefty legacy contracts.
