PuckPedia’s Snipes & Insights hosted Keith Kavanaugh & Tyler Madarasz. They provide in-depth analysis for the May 7th slate of Stanley Cup Playoff games.
They recap last night’s NHL Playoff games, as the Carolina Hurricanes beat the Washington Capitals in Game 1 thanks to a Jaccob Slavin overtime winning goal. Then the Vegas Golden Knights went up early against the Edmonton Oilers. But Leon Draisaitl, Connor McDavid, and company led a 4 goal comeback that allowed the Oilers to steal Game 1 in Vegas.
Then they previewed the 2 games today, as the Florida Panthers look to even up their series against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Joseph Woll will be in net for the Leafs after Sam Bennett allegedly injured Anthony Stolarz last game. Aaron Ekblad will be returning from his 2 game suspension to re-join the Panthers line up. Then Game 1 of the Winnipeg Jets and the Dallas Stars begins their series. It looks like Jason Robertson and Mark Scheifele will join their team’s respective lineups, while Josh Morrissey is a game-time decision and Miro Heiskanen has already been ruled out.
