Now that the NHL Draft order has been determined, it’s time to start looking at potential prospects who could end up being available when the Philadelphia Flyers make their pick at six.
Today we’ll look at James Hagens, who was the presumed number 1 overall pick a year ago, but fell off after his good-not-great freshman season at Boston College.

I would be so damn happy with that. There’s a lot of players I like in that top ten, but in that mix, I think Hagens and Michkov together would create magic.

If Hagens/Frondell aren't there at #6 Flyers should reach for Mrtka 6'6 defensemen who looks like Sanheim 2.0 with a right handed shot. If Mcqueen falls into the teens trade up and grab him with the Colorado pick. Trade up again with the Edmonton pick and grab Ravensbergen. 6'6 skilled defensemen, 6'5 boom or bust top 6 center, 6'5 athletic potential franchise goalie! We need to add size with skill in this draft!
Trade the F up and get Misa he will be playing at Penn State. Trade the 6 and two seconds to SJ for Misa.
Very possible, his 'stock' among the analysts has fallen slightly to outside the top 4. He's also the smallest of the premium centers at 5 ft 10 inches, 175 lbs. Lack of size is not what the Flyers need but picking him wouldn't surprise me.

Flyers fan listening from Anchorage, Alaska. Bill, Anchorage is a great hockey town. Just last week we sold out our barn (6200) for our Anchorage Wolverines (NAHL) junior team's playoff game. Personally like desnoyers more then frondell or Hagens but none are bad choices
There seems to be a contingent in Long Island that thinks the Isles might take Hagens at #1, I think no chance he drops to 6. I think the flyers should be taking a long look at O'Brien, dude is an under rated play maker.

I would suggest lowing your expectations for the 6th pick. Be happy if the guy they get makes it to the NHL
If Hagens is the target I would say the only option is Danny trades up to get him.
the only good thing about the Flyers falling to 6, is that they don't have to choose which player to take. Misa and Schaefer are the top tier and will be gone, leaving 4 players in the second tier. Frondell, Hagens, Martone and Desnoyers. One will be there at six and all the Flyers have to do is take him. There is no one else that would make more sense than one of these four.
It’s Caleb Desnoyers or Jake O’Brien for the Flyers. I’m not gonna even allow myself to get excited for anything else.
After the letdown of the lottery I’d be tickled to get hagens or frondell. Idk much about the prospects beyond that but I’m going to keep expectations low so I don’t get disappointed draft day
i found a picture of hagens beside michael hage, (6feet 1) and Hagens is NOT 5feet 11
There's about a 10% chance Hagens is around at #6…Flyers need a center, Hagens at 5'10" will likely move to wing in the nhl..if flyers go with a winger, Martone would be my wish list
