Destined For Failure: The Los Angeles Kings

The Los Angeles Kings have failed to perform in the playoffs for the fourth straight season. Each year, they’ve been bested, again and again, by the Edmonton Oilers. Whether they add Darcy Kuemper, Andrei Kuzmenko, Vladislav Gavrikov, or whatever other under the radar performer, it doesn’t seem to matter. The Los Angeles Kings have been perennial losers. Today, we take a look at the last four years of the Los Angeles Kings, and the mistakes made that allowed them to reach this point.

  1. Yeah, its tough being up early against Edmonton constantly. It is the same with Toronto. Every season we get stuck with Tampa or Florida, the two Stanley Cup winners over the past . Colorado are pretty sick of playing Dallas every first rounf too. This playoff format is a joke. But Bettman is too proud to admit its very broken

  2. The LA Kings only have so many goes left to go for another Stanley Cup before they need a retool of some sort.
