Suter crosscheck on Namestnikov – Have your say!

Ryan Suter made no attempt to play the body on Vladislav Namestnikov. He drove a crossheck across his arm and body after the puck was long gone and sent him crumpling to the ice. There was no call on this play, which occurred in overtime of Game Seven. Give me one good reason why I should suspend him for less than six games?

  1. He did the same thing twice to Kaprizov in the playoffs and Kaprizov's skating has never been the same. Suter is a sadist and routinely presses this same button when threatened in the playoffs. Should be 20+ at this point considering he has been doing this for a decade and the compounded stain he has left on the league year over year has observably diminished other players careers (which he takes great pride in).

  2. Once again, what would ordinarily be a penalty in the regular season, is ignored because it's game 7 & it's tied in OT. That's how you can get fractured ribs. Suter, just like his father, is a rat.

  3. It most definitely was malicious. Namestinikov plays the puck, Suter actually had to feel it because it deflected off his foot, thereafter he raises the stick and nails him in the ribs. Disgusting play. More disgusting that the ref ignored it. Most disgusting that there's no supplemental discipline.
