Cossa isn't really living up to expectations & before someone comes at me with – goalies need to develop, blah blah
For me TA is more likely to live up to expectations than Cossa

The Cossa trade is proving to be Steves worst move as GM, kids 1-0 in The show, but Dallas got Wyatt Johnston and Stankhoven.

Was at the game. This team is soft just like the wings. Seems to be an organization wide problem. The only physical presence they have is Watson

I live in GR and was at game 2. After getting blanked 4-0 in game 1, i sensed trouble and figured it might be the last home game of the season. It was pretty ugly and we just couldn't get out of the huge hole. Now we have to go to texas and get win 3 in a row.

First of all Cossa definitely didn't play that damn bad the first game. He let in two high danger shots….60% def. fault & 40% (stoppable) his fault. The other 2 goals were 99% NOT his fault=high traffic deflections. Other team making good traffic both games. This team Looks exactly like the red wings did the first part of the year under Derick Lalonde. This coach was his guy and it looks like it ! McClellan needs to get his guy in their asap. I feel Yzerman couldn't pull the trigger when Todd came hear because GR was in the playoffs. That wouldn't have been appropriate. If Griffons were out also, He could
have put a new coach in there then…. Todd's guy. The point is this team looks just like the Lalonde Red Wing team, may not be anywhere near as bad as it looks. A lot of things come down to defensive structure, game plan and coaching style ! When a team looks lost always look to the coach. All teams with good coaches always have structure and play pretty tight games. From the highlights, this team just looks lost & out of position. I do see alot of skill at times.
Doesn't give any great feelings about RW's "top prospects". TBH they looked levels below other team prospects. If that is the case they may as well just tear it down and restart. In the NHL they have very good players but no superstars and if the prospects are either levels below that are even about the same they are not good enough. It keeps looking negative at this point so since they have blown chances to get in the playoffs Steve now knows FOR SURE that they are not good enough. He should now be making trades if they can make the team better and no one should be safe.
