kind of talk a little bit about the penalty kill, right? Like you’re missing Hegel yesterday. Anthony actually took a couple of the penalties. He was in the box. Just the job to step in after three goals that Florida scored in the first one to rebound the way you guys had in the last two. Yeah, you know, uh definitely some guys always going to have to step in and we have plenty of guys that can do that down the lineup that can step in and penalty a kill. And um after the first game uh I think there were just a couple bad bounces and uh we made some little adjustments to help out and it didn’t work out. Actually Denny and the chemistry that you guys had couple big blocks on the PK there in the third then he scores a goal and just jubilation on the bench. Something like that happens after you have a great kill and then a guy like that scores a goal. What does that do for the entire group? Oh, he’s great. Glenn he’s a great player. uh he works so hard and uh it’s so easy to play with him because I I think we think the game the same way and uh he’s such a man the way he blocks the shots and uh it’s nice to see him get rewarded. You say it’s the same way. What do you mean by that? I think we just think the same game the same way a little bit more defensive side of it and uh it’s easy to understand each other that way. I don’t think this is one of the newer guys on this team. You know, what what did maybe you learn from from game three about the group that that you guys have in terms of the fight back and you know being down to losing those games at home and then coming back on you know on the road and winning a big game. No, definitely very tight group. Uh if we go down it doesn’t doesn’t really affect the way we play. We kind of stick with it. I I thought we uh did that in the first games. the the result just wasn’t there and uh it showed in the third game. Well, Sam, you had to wait a long time to get to this uh this spot. Um you’ve seen it on TV. You’ve heard all about it. What does it feel like? What’s your interpretation now that you’re in it? Oh, it’s it’s definitely amazing. Uh uh amazing to get these first three games and the first win. But yeah, it’s it’s hockey. It’s fast, physical. Uh it’s chippy. Uh it’s just a lot of fun. What did you learn about trying to deal with some of the tactics that Florida’s doing? We’ll call them dark arts. Yeah. No, no, it’s cool. That’s the cool part about playoffs that uh pretty much every game is a clean slate. You know, you you get a new game and uh you kind of have to adjust. There’s in-game adjustments. So, all all of that is is awesome part about the playoffs. See, obviously, you know, down to a no vehicle, a lot of things you kind of use as motivation for this game. How do you guys without that be able to have that same kind of insensity in this game to make sure that you can bring it, you know, back to Hy with a 22? Yeah, you know, this that’s what I say. It’s a clean slate. You kind of just extract the things you need to extract from the previous games where it’s a loss or a win. And uh you get a brand new game the next day. And uh I think the energy we had coming in last game was great. And I have no doubt we’ll bring that tomorrow. bring him back. I think he’s going to have a great game. I mean, I think him sitting out a game will build up his emotions and I think he’s going to be flying tomorrow. So, I’m I’m excited to see him.
