Bennett hits Stolarz in the head – Tough Call Review
Sam Bennett ran into the head of Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz. There was no call on this play, and Stolarz stayed in for a few minutes but was later pulled from the game after throwing up at the bench.
Oh give me a fucking break, that's what's got everybody screaming and crying🤦 That was a nothing bump, get over yourselves people. Thankfully the NHL seen it the same way and didn't do anything about it. It's hockey people, there's going to be bumping and crashing and banging. That was almost less then nothing.
Should’ve been 5 and game and I don’t care for either team. You HAVE to protect players from headshots 100% of the time. Otherwise CTE will run rampant in vets of the league and we all know what that does to a person. Player safety dropped the ball as usual with no discipline for Sam. Just gross intentional (cmon it’s Bennett ofc it was) or not.
These hits should be avoided, but don’t they have padding on their arms and he was wearing a helmet and this is hockey? It look more like a shove than a hard hit. Hope he is ok.

If Bennet wanted to hurt the goalie he would have just ran him over and landed on him. This contact was accidental and the higher ups concluded as much

It should have been a 5 minute major, game misconduct and Suspension of at least 3 games preferably 5. That's how they beat the Lightning they took out Hagel with a concussion, Cirelli, Headman ect they are nothing but a bunch of cheating thugs!
A BLANTANT DIRTY HIT ON STOLARZ, planned beforehand, an ambush, a knife in the back … A common tactic for the Pussies (former Panthers). WORST is they are so dirty and, like Trump, commit so many freaking penalties, refs can't call of them, .. so they let slide — even A FOREARM SHOT TO THE HEAD OF OUR GOALIE !! …. NO OTHER team would get away with this !!.. IN-FREAKING-SANE ! …. I mean how the REFS nowadays could let that go… ? … something stinks bad, and I am livid. …. PANTHERS ARE THE DIRTIEST TEAM in the NHL as far as I've seen over the last two seasons, cheating at every chance, holding sticks, taking dives all through the bloody game… aiming to injure at every chance, all with a 'victory or death' motto, like a BARBARIAN HORDE with psycho Tkachuk swinging a stick yelling kill. Not to mention, with Tkachuk as leader, the Pussies are likely all pals with Trump. It's like they're literally winning the Cup for him – and supporting a takeover of Canada. …. (a note from B.C.)
