ESPN is terrible. I hope I'm never driving near Sean Mcdonough on the interstate because he can't stay in his lane and editorializes "play by play" and routinely against the Canes. PK is an unapologetic homer who brings nothing to the set (hence the ridiculous catwalk twirls). Luke took the words out of my mouth regarding Mess, whose own "Leadership Award" was completely exposed as a discarded joke that should've stayed in the trash in the green room. Pronger has the personality and pulse of a pile of dirt. And Levy is still mad Karmanos didn't want to subsidize a fanbase that couldn't fill a shopping mall arena. TNT is balanced. I get why Biz grinds people's gears but his analysis is always solid and he leans into the lifelong pain as a Leafer. But the TNT crew is, top to bottom, light years beyond ESPN's coverage, including from a technical standpoint. Did anyone else get seasick from the constant camera changing during Game 1 tonight? Good grief! If an alternate camera angle catches a great moment, that's what replays are for! Not live action! TNT is guilty of this too, but tonight was absolutely dreadful. And don't get me started on the tired bullshit narratives the ESPN producers have been copy pasting for years.
