  1. Paul is by far the best coach in the NHL and I would say best I have ever seen since I started watching hockey. He knows his team, his opponent, and what it takes to put his team in a position to win. Head and shoulders about other NHL coaches.

  2. I love his final comment we just drink coffee and swear that was awesome. From a leaf fan. Paul has come along way from being a coach of the leafs to Florida. And all in all I'd rather play Florida then Tampa. Can't stand Pooper . Paul don't complain like Pooper.

  3. I think it smells like a Maple Leafs win this time. So much dirt going on in Florida. Who was caught doping again? Shameful. So weak.

  4. Leafs fan here, I respect Paul Maurice's demeanour–calm and collected–very articulate, love hearing him speak. I admire and deeply appreciate your team's grit, tenacity, and truculence. Great deadline acquisition for Marchand too–my heart sank when I heard that transaction just before the deadline ended. For years, I wished my Leafs had those attributes. Hopefully, it'll be the year for us to oust the Panthers. Regardless, it'll be a fun and hard-hitting series, and there will be injuries on both sides. Go Leafs Go.

  5. Great coach but Florida really doesn't need 2 teams. Panthers had no fans until 2024. Coyotes had more attendance. The most forgotten about team in hockey history. That's sad.

  6. As a die hard leafs fan, not many coaches got fired that i had sympathy for. Only one, Paul Maurice. Took a garbage team and made it competitive, twice. Phenomenal on the mic.

  7. As a life-long Leaf fan, I know hockey well enough to know that Florida is the better team. I'd like to see the Leafs win the cup before they die, but I don't believe it will be this year.

  8. You can see how Champions win Championships, create dynasties right, a combination of great players and a guy like Paul Maurice that creates a system and atmosphere to get the most out of them. A GM that can asses the needs of a team and fill it with perfect quality fits. This Florida Panthers team is primed to go to a 3rd straight cup.
