When you get pucks on net, that usually translates to getting pucks in net. Even if it doesn't mean a ton of goals, if you're getting the most shots, you've got more chances to get that one critical one. That's what happened for the Canes. Caps got outplayed, plain and simple.
The Sportsnet clown kept referring to it in a postgame show as an “ugly” game. If the Canes win 11 more games”ugly” games, they win a very beautiful trophy.
