‘Flames played for one another and have a lot to be proud of’: Valji on Calgary’s season

  1. What will be ironic is that the Oilers are going to lose in the playoffs, maybe even in the first round, and their fans will be disappointed, pissed and likely filled with pessimism for the future. The Flames, on the other hand, didn't quite make the playoffs and their fans are pleased with how well they did in a year when everybody thought they'd be bottom of the league and super optimistic about the future which seems very bright for the Flames.

  2. All those young guys playing meaningful games for a month and learning from the "Never Say Die" Vets. It was a great growth year.

  3. Awesome move by Flames management paying for closed circuit T.V. on all Calgary golf courses…. Flame fans can watch their favorite players all through the Playoffs!!!

  4. Man, the Saddledome just came Canada's Clear Lake, Iowa. Like if country singers from Calgary died in a plane crash. This makes me describe the Flames missing the playoffs as "The Day The Playoffs Died."
