This game would be over in regulation if not for Logan Thompson. He tried his best but his teammates couldn’t win for him.
Swiped a game on the road. Honestly if not for some unlucky bars this game really could have been way worse for the Caps. Thompson and his red goal bars did their best to keep the Caps in this game. Hopefully the Canes don't lose steam going into the next game and whatever happens Freddie, don't be a liability, don't be a liability, don't be a liability. It's ok to drop a game, just keep us in it.

Playing montreal really hurt the caps, that team could only really get effective chances on the rush and on the PP while being super young and not very physical… don't think they were ready for what the Canes had to bring
I don't understand much about hockey, but that it was evident that the better team won.
As i mentioned before, both pair caps/canadiens were the worst teams in this PO, and caps will be eliminated in 5 games 1-4

Slavin is the best pure D-man in hockey right now. His gamesense and positioning is next level. Carolina DOMINATED this game. If the rest of this series looks like this the caps will be lucky to win a game. This shoulda been like 8-1. Posts and Thompson kept it closer than it should've been.
