  1. Please tell me what you think of this idea? Would you consider trading Logan, Roy, first round draft pic for a real 2nd line center or a first line center and drop Nick to 2nd line center and really take over teams? I would, thanks kevin

  2. Jake Sanderson contract is the bottom starting point for Hutson if it's an 8 year deal. Who knows, maybe his camp will ask for a bridge contract knowing full well the cap is going up and he is projecting be a franchise player.

  3. High scoring defenseman that log a ton of minutes were already at $9.5M/season already for a number of seasons. Got to note that the Habs cannot wait as Evan Bouchard's next contract could affect Hutson's contract (Bouchard is RFA after this season end). A bridge deal could possibly leave the Habs paying more later as the cap will significantly go up over the next 3 seasons. Justin (Morrow) Carbonneau could be interesting, but it could be too much for a young Quebec player to be facing, especially with the Carbonneau name on top.

  4. I like that Carbonneau possibility at 16th or 17th. NHL Draft Pros also had their mock draft today, they had Carbonneau at 15th to the Canucks and then Malcolm Spence to the Habs at 16th, same weight as Carbonneau but 6"3 some great offense skills too, could be a good one as well. They also have Kashawn Aitcheson at 17 a pretty interesting D but another lefty so I think if might be off there. In any case I don't see Kent Hughes keeping both picks, i think one of them will be traded away in a package either to get that 1/2 C or to move up into the top 7 to try and land whichever is left and they like the best between Desnoyers, O'brien, Martin or Bear.

  5. Habs CURRENT Left Wing #13 Cole Caufield. #92 Patrik Laine, #17 Josh Anderson , #51 Emil Heineman, #55 Michael Pezzetta.

Habs Current Center #14 Nick Suzuki , #15 Alex Newhook, #28 Christian Dvorak , #71 Jake Evans, #91 Oliver Kapanen , #62 Owen Beck

  6. Montreal needs one more 2 way Defenceman that can REALLY enforce if needed. I really think we need another guy that is scary and tough as fuck. Ivan and Cole need guys that can step in and moderate the nasty opponents. It's great to have Slav but he's more Jagr. We need the new George Laraque, excellent player but when needed is a SERIOUS player. I love George because he was an excellent talent and no one wanted to fight. We need one more of that.

2nd Centre, absolutely need the right 2nd centre "captain," but someone that is multi-skilled so a solid veteran.

  7. Keep up the excellent work boys.
Been a longtime subscriber and you two certainly have your finger on the pulse when it comes to talking about relevant Habs news 🙂

  8. 8×8 nobody is making more than nick. Believe Lane is a team first.Cup first kinda guy. Maybe a clause that Aurber his buddy stays with the Habs . If the boys play bigger with one Xhekaj imagine two!

  9. I wish players were paid by performance and the cup. Couldn't care less if ya mc nugget or ron Jeremy you are here for one reason a cup!

  10. He's earned a signing. Between him and St. Louis they're the only chance of any hardware in Montreal, outside of the Rocket.

  11. the habs are so fucking lucky because if they stick to the whole no one gets paid more than the captain were gona be getting all these amazing young players for a fucking steal
