I had a HS classmate named Walfish. I don't think she was related to this guy, and to the best of my knowledge, she didn't eat sea urchins…unless the spines were removed first.
Me when it's not about the wolf eel being or not being able to eat urchins, but the wolf eel clearly going for a bit on the diver to begin with. Wolf eels live in caves and are fiercely protective of their cave. This little guy clearly wanted the diver off of his porch, the urchin being there is about as useful to the video as someone throwing Pb&Js at a momma grizzly while holding its cubs.
