Start to finish without the drama!
Leaf fan. Just one game. Good start. Sucks for stoli. Hate Bennett with a passion and he keeps getting away with this. Tough series no doubt but glad to see the boys with jump and willy looking interested. Worst game i think i have see goalie bob play truly. Expect a long series at least 6 or 7.

As a leafs fan we played really well but fell a part in the third period also I hope that storlaz is okay gg good luck this series

That was a very good game. The highlight will be Stolarz going out. Its possible he got hurt on the slap shot in the 1st period and the bump by Bennett aggravated it. I disagree with most other Leafs fans that this was malicious other than Bennett likely knew he was in the crease and was fine with contact with Stolarz. There was no intent to injure which is the reason you suspend players. If panthers scored there it would of gotten called back for interference and it could of been called a penalty. For the result of this series Leafs chances of winning it are greatly reduced with Stolarz out so that disappointment will lead to the emotional anger reactions you are seeing. Great recap Jaws and I hope you don't have to deal with any garbage in the chat this series as there will be high emotions. I personally avoid Leafs/Panthers live streams on your channel as there is too much drama for me. I'll see you at noon and for other series. Go Leafs Go!

Man the concussions on seemingly-deliberate head hits are making it difficult for me to pull for you guys right now. I like it physical but this is feeling like habitual line-crossing.
This team is dirty, they target and hit to injure intentionally. They hit after the whistle. You can have your team, but it's not a team with any integrity. It's not a team to be proud of.
I think imma avoid the rest of the series. Dont wanna see this team collapse in real time to the fuckon leafs and become a laughing stock
I noticed in the beginning you mentioned no “ head hunting” and I agree with you but apparently Sam Benett does not! Now we have to play the rest of the series with our back up! You do know that if the panthers win the series it’s because once again Sam Benett injures a key player!, just like he did to knies in 2023 when he slammed his head to the ice and couldn’t return to the series. This isn’t hockey, it’s barbarism. If stolarz getting hurt was an accident I wouldn’t be writing this post, but we know it was intentional. I wonder why Benett declined to speak to the media? Anyways… hope stolarz recovers.
If they play like the third minus the player management im not worried. They don’t deserve it but we dominated leafs. The 3rd was panther hockey the 1st n second was a beer league game

I think Bennett should be suspended atleast 1 game and as u know I’m a Bennett fan although I do not think Bennett directly caused the injury I think it agitated what was already there from earlier in the game
I feel so bad for Stolie, but I can’t stand these people thinking the Benny hit was what concussed him. It was definitely the shot from Reino that did it. The Benny hit didn’t help don’t get me wrong. But how about instead of blaming Benny for a soft hit, you blame the Leafs medical staff for not assessing his concussion from the get go. He shouldn’t have even been out when the Benny hit happened. Either way I pray Stolie is ok. Also, can we play a full game next game, that would be nice.

Panthers are a great team, but I think Bennett will single handedly decide the narrative around Panthers hockey, straight up greasy. I mean Marchand is greasy but Bennett ,well didnt he do the same to his Boston teammate last playoff?
Leaf fan here. Doing the same thing I did in the Sens series and seeking to enjoy the other side's perspective on things. I love your format of doing thoughts going into the game then evaluating each period individually immediately after they happen and then the game as a whole. I think that's such a cool format and I haven't come across it before. As someone else in here also said you feel relatively unbiased even though you're cheering for the Panthers. You give an analytical view of what happened and still give credit to the other team where it's due. Good luck in the series man and as much as I absolutely hate the Panthers, I like you haha. Your video format is awesome. Best of luck and I'll be watching your videos after every game.

now Jaws, from hockey fan to hockey fan. i might be gonna say some stuff you and your fanbase won't like. i made a comment on one of your other uploads but deleted it. now is the time to insert that post after last nights game. i felt guilty and deleted the first one, but not now. bennet punches and choke slams Knies and gets nothing from it. bennet sucker punches marchand and gets nothing from it. he elbows Stolarz and concusses him out and yes, go watch the replay of that on every angle you can find. he don't just run into Stolarz, he forces his elbow towards Stolarz head. to help you understand, just picture the shoe on the other foot. your all ok with that style of gameplay ? you really want to win that way ? the way i see it, just rough legal play, florida can't play with toronto so they resort to the cheapshots to injure players. this is well known and sorry Jaws, i ain't alone in this theory, i got other teams fans and friends commenting on this. with all this being said, i'm gonna repost what i deleted the other day from a friend, huge habs fan, lived hockey all his life, he's our age. . . this is what he tells me , his hot take . . . " if the refs call florida's cheapshots, dirty plays and elbows to heads, leafs in 4, if not, leafs in 7 ". just between me and you, bring your rough " legal " play all you want, but stay away from the cheapshots please.
Normally I am not a guy to comment often but the panthers are unbelievable at pushing boundaries and those boundary lines continually keep growing, and now a hard nose team that I use to wish my leafs were like are have become a team that has compromised the integrity of the game and is becoming a morally bankrupt organization!
FYI this is a long one
Understanding this may sound dramatic to some, this win at all cost is something most of us are not taught as kids and sadly the desire to win (which I do believe is incredibly important to humanity as it help push the world forward, but sports are supposed to balance individual integrity too) has turned into win at all costs for this once beloved underdog franchise.
Let’s do a quick count here:
1. Bennett, strange how he is always “accidentally” involved in players becoming injured with their heads…. I encourage everyone to watch him closely over the years, but let’s stay focused on this situation… the Cats are losing badly at this point in the game and he wants to do something to change to momentum in the game, not saying the intent was to injure but in a best case scenario he was doing it to get Stollie off his game. Bennett’s glove , stick and elbow were not going towards Stollie’s head until Bennett made a split decision and changed his mind in my opinion to hopefully piss stollie off not injure him, but his intentional action led to a guy he most likely cares about was badly concussed and yes the puck to the mask is most likely a big factor in Stollie’s health concerns and the leafs should had in hindsight pulled stollie much much sooner, but just because someone was possibly already hurt doesn’t mean that you are allowed to hurt them more! Bottom line is if a kid a school was always involved in other kids getting hurt eventually we would need to make that kid and their parents accountable! The fact that Bennett is always given the benefit of the doubt leads to others around the league thinking that they can do the same.
2. PED – Ekblad getting caught for PEDs, I would be shocked if he was the only player and whatever he was caught with in his system was the only thing he was on. Anyone who grew up in a change room can tell you if one guy is on something odds are others on that same team are…. Sure there was a very stiff suspension but the benefits are still in his system, just ask Tampa Bay if Ekblad hit like a juiced up train. Anyone love Lance Armstrong? At least Lance started a foundation that has helped people that need help! Also I wonder if the Panthers had an inside knowledge that this suspension was coming, seems like a very big coincidence that they happened to trade for jones at the perfect time.
3. Cap circumvention- this is silly that the league allows this… but I wonder what the panthers organization and fans said when the lightning got Kuch back just in time for a cup run and beefed up at the trade deadline using all his LTIR money… again on the league but I wonder if any panther supporters had a tiny issue with this at the time.
4. Email gate – Collin Campbell who is part of the league staff, who’s son Gregory played for the Cats and is now the AGM. Clearly there is evidence of tampering, nepotism, and flat out horse poop going on here.
5. No Taxes state – not anything the panthers can do here, but it is a massive advantage that other teams simply don’t have.
Congratulations panthers you have now surpassed a juiced up Brock Lesner, if you’re not cheating you are not trying Belichick/ Patriots, and Lance Armstrong for the most garbage approach to winning in sports!
I hope no one gets hurt on the Panthers and the Leafs for the rest of this series! Even though Bennett should be ejected from the playoffs, I hope he doesn’t miss one game, Eckblad is on all the juice he needs, the panthers activate a 200M payroll, Gregory Campbell gets all the favours he can from his daddy, and Paul Maurice keeps on playing his condescending mind games he has up his sleeve …. Because my LEAFS are better than the Panthers this season in every way and welcome all the dirty trick the panthers can offer, just going to make eliminating this joke of a franchise who needed the snowbirds from Ontario to buy tickets to even be around today that much sweeter! Leafs fans deserve to celebrate a cup win so much(yup we have some special fans that deserve to be jailed like all fan bases, but the panthers have players and managers that deserve to be jailed!) we have a fandom that has suffered heart break before Florida even knew what a puck was.
Bennett thanks for being the spark we needed to bring the cup back to the team you cheered for growing up (Bennett for sure thought Florida was a joke of a franchise growing up)! Can’t wait to be singing Oh Canada in round three at Scotiabank Arena.

A disappointing game from this team. Hopefully they will have the rust off for this next game and also be 100% focused. Because the Leafs are a desperate team, and a desperate organization and fanbase. They will do anything they can to make it past this series.

Bob wasn’t on last night, and the boys were unprepared somehow for the Toronto blitzkreig at puck drop. Terrible game, and now they need to take game 2. First line needs to get going, because frankly they’re not doing enough.
Greer has also been ass. E Rod has been ass. Bovqist has been ass. Verhaege has been ass. Chucky has been ass. Jones has also been ass (defensively).
