This is what happens when you get rid of fast, young, talented players up front, the defence is mediocre, some nights like the last two games dogshit and you have a sieve for a Goaltender, embarrassing! This has been a hard season for an oilers fan with all the ups and downs. Get this season over with make some changes in the off season. Goalie, goalie coach, Head Coach, and please don’t sign Bouchard for no more the 4 million.
I really dislike the the defensive system we use. It is set up in a way that if one player makes a mistake, the other team gets a 5 star chance. Every other team has layers, so it is exponentially more difficult to generate those five star chances
Skinner is not playing that bad,not bad enough to replace him, hes always been that way a walking dilemma a Tweener, Knoblauch has to start Skinner simply because there is no empirical evidence to legitimize the decision of not starting him. Plus win draw or lose Skinner has now built up a decent number of Playoff games on his Resume….so its not Rocket Science to see what Knoblauch has to do, its simple ,play the Number 1 guy until you cannot do that anymore. Someone needs to send the Oilers dressing room a whole pallet of Big-Boy Pants. Skinners your Goalie,so buck it up Buttercup and support defend and LOVE him. It looks like there is a severe shortage of goals being scored by the Oilers, how can that be? If Skinner dumps the bed and lets in say 3 quick ones
so who is going to be the next coach . i think Kris is loosing the team . they aren't doing anything to show how to counter the kings defence system it's not had to beat this modified trap. come on man
Better doesn’t mean matter when you are too slow and too out of sync. They are not going anywhere and they believe they are . This is frustrating, and super annoying, when we could have had at least some of players we let go of.
It doesnt really matter what you guys do at this point, the team is simply not good enough. Mcleod and Foegele proven to be huge losses especially for our PK. Arvidsson is too small and J.Skinner is a defensive liability lol. Key guys like Hyman heavily declined this season. They just dont got it this year. Pack it in and reset for next season
For f sake park Bouchard , skinner and janmark, it’s time to win and zero time for those 3 losers!!! Get Jones or Jeff skinner back in and anyone but Bouchard on defense, oil country has faith in pickard
Skinner is a 2.5 million dollar goalie, and that's what he plays like. He doesn't win games for his team and he doesn't make the saves that 6-10 million dollar goalies make. … Knoblauch, you can make all the excuses that you want, but Skinner is not a goalie that can save an injured, defensively pathetic team.
Learn how to play defense…. They did it not long ago, how do you forget all of a sudden? Letting in more goals on the PK in 2 games than they did in the entire playoffs last year doesn’t help matters.
