This was hilariously bizarre…The Ducks’ playoff hopes are officially dead, and their game against the Flames showed why. From Vatrano’s hilarious (but reckless) stick toss to another brutal power play performance, Anaheim never looked in it. Gibson left with an injury, and now Gudas might be out too—or maybe not, depending on who you believe. Either way, the Ducks fall back under .500 with seven games left. Ik its not that big od a deal but at 3:08 thats pachal not pospisil
At least, in this game I was able to witness what it looks like when the jolly green giant is on a breakaway.
Gudas is a washed up clown. Return him back to sender, NOW!
C needs to be on the future. Slap it on Leo please.
Who else is gonna enjoy Ducks playoffs I liked these past 7 years
Man 7 years of no playoffs is really starting to take a toll on me
I was pissed off at the back-checking effort Zegras made on the short handed goal by Coleman. Come on Zegras, you've got to give it your all in that situation, at least a little back-side pressure.
Way better than least season at least
Damn what a loss
Gudas not playing injured would be scary as hell, cos if this is what he has to offer then this Duck's goose is cooked! Surely an NHL organization based in California can entice a couple of capable special team coaches into employment? Undoubtedly there is a world of young talent on the roster & if this 7 yr no play-off streak looks set to continue then who'd blame these player's for wanting out? SORT the coaching staff out for crying out LOUD!!
Finish the season strong ducks thats all i can say still love you guys LET'S GO DUCKS!!!!!
Turns out Brown wasn’t the problem with the power play.
Zegras out Rakkel back in next year. Surprised we held onto Gibby.. Be nice if Bedard does not want to waste his time on a rebuild and we land the Carlsson Bedard line. Drai McDavid status for the next 15 years lol
I worry that as soon as the offense grows up enough to be a threat, and the D comes into it’s own, the net-minding tandem is going to be gassed or over the hill.
They’d be wise to package Gibby with Minty or Zellweger in the offseason to a team like Carolina who has needed a legit #1 in net since Cam Ward retired while also looking to replace Orlov’s all but certain UFA departure. In exchange, Carolina could offer up a Future 1st (perhaps down the road enough to be TDL Bait for when the Ducks are in the mix of things + Prospects or Roster Player.
In an ideal world, GMPV throws caution to the wind and sends Gibs + Zellweger/Minty + 2025 3rd/TOR to UTA for F Lawson Crouse+D Dmitri Simashev + 2025 1st.
Two guys clocking in at over 6’4“ should help in front of both nets.
we making the playoffs in 2026 right?! I moved away from so cal since 2011, so next year around this time i should be booking my flight to LAX and go hang out with my old buddies until i attend to honda center for our first playoff game since many years ago.
