  1. Dach just had his 3rd knee surgery on the same Knee. He’s not going to be good next year. Hes spending all of his time rehabbing and not getting any better.

  2. Asset management to me says Mailloux first. Reinbacher has not even played half an Half an ahl season. Let him reach his full potential

  3. Armia needs to stay, and wants to. I have a feeling he will take an Evans type money deal. He is too valuable on the PK and to finish off games…

  4. The Habs are going to make a few trades in the next few months. They need to make room for Kapanen, Beck, Reinbacher, Roy, Hage ,Florian Xhejak , Rohrer , Engstrom and potentially a few others etc.etc. If they use all their 12 picks at this year's draft, where are they gonna put all these players? They can only sign 50 players, but will be way over that limit this summer. So I see, out of necessity, that Hughes trading quite a few bodies..

  5. Free agency is gonna be tough for HuGo especially. Bergevin was having some great success getting guys like Chiarot, Edmundson, and Toffoli to come to Montreal. But anyone seeing how HuGo quickly tossed them aside has every reason to give us a pass.

  6. what kind of money can you offer mctavish? more money than suzuki? because that's what it would it take, otherwise ducks will match for sure. are you ready to give mctavish around 8 million?

  7. I agree, keep Dach. There's lots of time to have discussions and make considered decisions. Thanks guys

  8. 1- Xhekaj is budget friendly and has a chair as a enforcer6th defencemen. With talented defencemen that needs minute, you need a 10 minute player.
2- Newhook is not able to convert into a regular threat, is not tough and cannot play special teams.
3- Dach is not in a good place. He has had enough chances. Either he performs next year or kick him out.
4- Patrick Laine HAS to be good in 5 on 5. MAYBE his knee was troubling him..
5- We need to make space for the american league players coming up.

  9. Dach would be an excellent right winger on the second line. Demidov as the left winger and whoever they get to play second line center.

  10. I'm confident that we can make the right deal for a 2C. I dont think Hughes will overpay.

The Jays made a trade a couple of years ago that was an overpayment because they were dealing from a position of strength. I dont see Highes making that mistake.
