But yeah, the injury report has it that Tyler Fitzgerald, who was initially diagnosed with a chest contusion, suffered diving for a ball against the Texas Rangers back on the 28th. Sorry, no, the 25th of last month in the middle of that uh series with the Rangers that closed out that long stretch of games. He slid and now the MRI says it’s a left rib fracture. Ouch. That was three days ago. So, he’s been moved to the 10-day IIL and he will not be going on the road trip to Chicago in Minnesota. He’ll be back probably for those Arizona games in the middle of the month. Casey Schmidt has a left oblique strain and won’t be available this entire month. probably well they’re saying maybe late May but those oblique strains are a problem for many players.
