  1. Kyle Davidson is incompetent, full stop. His ambition exceeds his talent and foments a cuck, feminine-like culture. Any team he assembles will get steam rolled by any team playing real hockey.

  2. Listening to Davidson he will not sign a bunch of old guys. He learned his lesson and saw a competitive team when the kids were brought up. Misa is the guy the Hawks need for missing on Demidov. Now if they get no 1 than Shaphear is the guy. And the Hawks Defenceman are set for the next 15 years. Maybe trade Kourchinski and 2026 1st and second first pick and get a top forward like Misa or Hagens. Unlikely though . But they will have to get a top flight forward somewhere. Kane is definitely the only guy I would sign. He went cheap to Detroit at 2 million. The guy is still good. And he would feed Bedard alot of shots. I'm not sold on Kourchinski.

  3. Rinzel is our best D-man, he's been unreal. No need to add a D or a Goalie, Need 2 1st line forwards, (Misa, Marner) and they will be very good until they have to pay full price to these guys.

  4. Blackhawks should offer RFA Matthew Knies a big contract, maybe $7 or $8 Million x 5 years. That will make it tough for Toronto to match. Hawks can offer Toronto a couple of high draft choices they can take as compensation for not matching the offer. Kneis will like the contract because he will be 28 years old when it expires and have a chance for a 2nd big money contract. Kneis is big strong and tough and has excellent speed. He can grow into a Marian Hossa type player.

  5. One more bad year. We’ve gotta at least have a chance at McKenna. You get McKenna, now you’ve got a core of young players that can actually carry an org for the next 10 years. Bedard and McKenna, with an embarrassment of riches on the blue line. Just one more bad year record wise

  6. I have absolutely no worries about Bedard and I could not be more stoked about this roster. Anyone who watched this season saw what a different team we were at the end of the season with the young guys playing and the vets out. Our defense is stacked. Knight looks like the truth. Bedard and Nazar are a great place to start with our forwards with Boisvert, Moore, Lardis, and Kantserov all on deck. My biggest question moving forward is coaching.

  7. Hockey is a difficult sport to judge on statistics alone. Bedard was one of the better players on the ice this year through just observing his skating and shooting abilities. The age of 19 is probably the most important stat for him right now. He will only get more prolific as he matures. I'd say that the choice of the right head coach is most important for next season. The right guy behind the bench will elevate everyone's game.

  8. Hawks going to be good in a few seasons nazer going to be a superstat cant wait for moore to shine and rinzel to and kevin kornnut .. go hawks

  9. It’s just too bad that Davidson is complete garbage as a GM. Read between the lines that he was an intern in 2010 and what pictures he owns

  10. Two years and the Hawks will be contenders. Thats how long it will take a new coach to get their act together and meld as a team, provided upper management can keep their hands off. The Hawks have the talent, Anders got a chance in to put that talent to work, but according to an insider directly on the team, the problem is not with Anders, its with those above him micromanaging the team. It's getting under the players skins too. The line up changes were being done by Anders, but by those above him, instead of finding a group that works well together they kept splitting the lines up. Right now the Ice Hogs have some of those BH players in the playoffs and they look hotter than they have all year. We will see if they play against the Ads as good as they did the Wolves, and if they do, we know where the issues have been. Let Seney loose with Dach and Guttman as wings and you will see more Goals. Thompson is hot for getting his first AHL goal, you can see it when he plays, the rest of the team want it. I was so hoping Messo would get his opening to plunk one in the open net and make a new AHL record, second goalie to goal and shutout the same team. It was last year the Stauber (why they let him go?) put one in the net against the Wolves and shut them out in the process, first AHL goalie to do so. They have the players, they have a good goalie coach, their Defense has drastically improved since last year, but the coaching still lacks in areas, and I see it on both the BH and the Ice Hogs that they use the same play books. They do bench changes instead of pressing the advantage when taking possession, missing out on several chances of a goal.

  11. I don’t see how standing points since before the rebuild tells us anything. Same with points for defensemen. If you’re looking to Vlasic’s point totals to tell us something, you’re doing it wrong.

  12. I still think this team needs a guy like Misa someone who can be that 1,2 punch with Bedard that’s the only way you win championships

  13. Forgot about Laurent Brossoit since he spent the entire year on IR. Sod showed a flash of elite goaltending early in the year. I want to see him do well, but I think we’ll move on and let Brossoit back up. I think Kyle Davidson learned from this year’s bad signings (Brodie especially) and will probably keep it to few top end signings. Absolutely right that we need to turn culture around for Bedard, he spent much of the year frustrated. Excited for next year, depending on what Davidson can do. 😂

  14. I would put Soderblom as number 1 in net. I know they sought after Spencer. At the least leave Soderblom as the reliever for Spencer. 🤷

  15. Hawks fan here – best case scenario is that we sign 1 maybe 2 veterans and let our young guns shine. We make playoffs as a wild card and win a round next year. Worst case we sign 4 or 5 veterans, delay development, and finish 5th from bottom next year. I’m hoping we sign only 1 maybe 2 veterans and see what these young players can develop into next year.
