The Anaheim Ducks had two picks in the first round of the 2022 NHL Draft, and they came away with some offensive firepower. The Ducks went with Pavel Mintyukov at #10, and Nathan Gaucher at #22. Were they the right picks for the Ducks? JD Hernandez breaks down both picks and how they can fit in with the Ducks in coming years. Also, the NHL Draft at large had a plethora of surprises that certainly affected the Ducks’ selections.

I’m not crazy about Gaucher, but mintukov is promising
Invest in a green screen, I feel like you are being held by the Kremlin in an old hospital basement.
this draft is huge for us, our defense is set now ( hopefully) for the next 10-15 years. also gaucher may not be top line potential, but will be a very useful grinder, im not mad at the pick the more its settle in after a few days.
Got a gut feeling Noah Warren is going to make the jump to the NHL. That kid is big. He’s 6 foot 5 and 216 pounds. And his coach has already said he can play with men with amazing skating ability
Chistov looked so promising for a couple seasons but never really took off. I remeber thinking he might be near Pavel Datsyuk soon and then…. ehhhh
Brad may, Travis moen, Shawn Thornton and Samuel Pahlsson, and George Parros drafted all over again. Can’t wait for October!! Go Ducks!Quack,Quack Motha F***as!!
