Erik Brannstrom scored from just beyond the blue line to put the Ottawa Senators up 4-1, and effectively ended Rittich’s night in net.

  3. Sens look unbeatable some games. Then flat on others. If they get that under control, look out.

  4. Man, Calgary is a hot mess right now. They seem to be the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of the Canadian Division.
    They played great against the Leafs on Monday and nearly beat them again Wednesday. Rittich played his best two games of the last 12 months and the Flames penalty kill went 11-11 against the leagues best power play.
    Then they follow it up by giving up a 6 spot against the last place Sens.
    It could be worse tho…..they could be the Canadiens.
