My Stanley Cup Playoffs: Skinner’s first postseason game

My Stanley Cup Playoffs: Skinner’s first postseason game

you definitely hear the crowd in the front part of your brain cuz
you’re probably trying to focus on the   game and want to keep your mind clear
for any sort of reactions you have to make Reaction and instinct You get in games
where there’s a little more excitement the   crowd gets into it a little bit more
starts coming down late in the game You   have to manage those emotions Hey hey you
called it That’s a punt Was Jeff Skipper’s   first playoff game after nearly,00 games of
regular season action without going to the   playoffs the most in NHL history 1,078
games and now you get to play in your   first playoff game Talk about the emotions
Yeah Uh it’s obviously been a long time coming As a kid I liked figure
skating and I liked hockey It was   pretty competitive I was in a really
good club I had really good coaching   I think that allowed me to improve at
a decent rate In figure skating you get stronger Being on the ice that much helped
me get comfortable on whatever skates I was   on As you get older and the jumps get
harder you kind of have to commit a   little bit more time to it Eventually got
to a point where I had to focus solely on hockey Once you make the jump and move away
from home I realized that maybe I can make   a career out of it and you realize you’re
playing with guys that have been drafted to   the NHL you definitely sort of notice
the energy the volume in the rink go up switch through and take down
Signing with Edmonton I knew I   was coming to a pretty good team Hey
Freddy Obviously we’ve got some pretty   good uh offensive players on the
Oilers David down the right wing Two goals within 36 seconds And this crowd is
stunned Unbelievable Obviously there’s some   history here with with the two franchises Uh
this is my first first taste of it but they’ve   got some familiarity with each other Racing up
ice More for LA Hits the brakes hits the trailer now The teams answer I think they’re
they’re they’re a really good team and   uh it’s a really good challenge for
us after Edmonton had stormed back   from 4 nothing down Well what
a game this turned out to be

  1. Skinner is such a great guy it really sucks that he's not in the lineup right now! If Skinner gets back in the lineup he's gotta play the meanest defensive hockey of his career! His offensive game will speak for itself ! He can put the puck in the net ! If Skinner's defensive game is fantastic the coaches will have no reasons for talking him out of the lineup!!! I hope Skinner gets another chance and has great playoff success this year!!!✌😊

  2. Knoblauch makes me upset! Tell knob to put his feelings to the side and quit acting like her!!! We need skinner
