– Walker Buehler has an issue with his throwing shoulder and flew back to Boston, Alex Cora told the media. Unclear if he will be placed on the IL, but Bello will start tomorrow instead.

Bring up Marcelo Mayer if it lasts.
Guess this means the RS ought to be serious about trading for Alcantara in July. He should be dialed in by then coming off TJ. Build a trade around Casas, who I hope is hitting by then. Wouldn’t trade Mayer or Anthony, but Casas will never be an early season hitter and he’d be hard pressed to EVER hit 100 rbi’s. I’d can Cora, but I’m not doing it mid season. At the end of this season, give him a gold watch and say good bye. RS should be paving the way for Mayer and Anthony. I think both these guys will legitimately hit ml pitching. One of those guys HAS to play 1B this season. No ifs ands or buts. So, happy early birthday its a first basemans glove wrapped with a bow. Abreu isn’t making it easy for Anthony playing RF. Someone made a stupid idea of trading Duran, which won’t happen. He’s honestly the heart of this team and getting better himself with the weather. I think you have to look at Raphaela, no longer being an every day bat. He knew the team wanted him to be more selective on pitches, but obviously can’t help himself. So I think you have an outfield of Anthony, Duran and Abreu. Raphaela can play some outfield and infield. Mayer playing 1B by July, but on the roster soon getting a feel for multiple infield positions in early 2025. Let the Story play out.

The move the Sox should make is as follows: 1. Campbell goes to first base. 2. Rafella goes to 2nd base (Hamilton plays 2nd as well) Rafella goes into outfield in late innings for defense. 3. Duran moves to center field. 4. YOU BRING UP Roman Anthony and you put him in Left Field. Thats the only move that makes sense and will help the team. All the other moves are not going to help the team. Anthony is ready. Let him play. Come on SOX.
