If you can get someone with his resume you do it! His impact getting free agents would be a plus.
ESPN rated Cooper as the best NHL coach, the anonymous players poll ranked him second as a coach players wanted to play for and Tourigny unfortunately was ranked T-7th as a coach players didn't want to play for. I know the team states they like Coach Bear, and I do too but don't know if you can pass on that option if it's available. The only down side might be Sergy stating he was happy to play for Utah because their system is something he liked playing more than the system he was playing in Tampa so with Cooper that could change.
Boy idk being golf buddies sounds a little bit like wishful thinking things would have to go wrong in Tampa Bay first, but if Smith makes him the highest paid coach, money talks right
I hope so our current coach sucks, you both said it perfectly our gm got a big team and we run the wrong offense for that coach and gm not in sink
