The Ottawa Senators 2024-2025 season is over.

    Hopefully some more finish next year from the Sens. The reality is they did not play nearly well enough in the playoffs this year. Thanks fellas for the consistently great content!

    The playoffs are done, so that means you need to shave the playoff beards off and start fresh. I went baby face last night. I first did it in 2006 and look what happened in 2007.

    Great season! Great show! Great team! Great Captain! Great owner! The Ottawa Senators are legit cup contenders for many years to come! Looking forward to watching the Cats and Tkachuk #2 kick the Laffs butt!! Refs won't save the Laffs this time, that's only permitted against the Sens.

    I went to bed a very happy and content man, despite the loss I'm incredibly proud of this team and what was accomplished. I cant wait for next year, with that playoff taste, this team will be even more hungrier and experienced. GSG!!

    Appreciate you guys. It’s fun to talk about where do all the players fit next year and which ones will be traded for better talent. I was thinking G on the third line and Amadio on fourth. Does cousens and Gauds stick around? Where does Zetterlund fit. Get another top 4d but where does yack and Matinpalo fit? Will he want to stay as 7d? Forsberg or Leevi?Upgrade on Batherson?Lots of tough decisions.

    The boys gained some valuable experience, no reason they can't come back even stronger next season! Sucks that we had to get eliminated by the leafs out of all teams, but all on all, this season was a success for this franchise.

    There's no wrong order, but I have 1) Brady 2) Sanderson 3) Stützle. I have Brady as #1 because he's our Captain. He's the heart and soul of our team. He might not be the most skilled guy on the team, but he's got grit, toughness and so much more. He's a true leader.

    I was at Game 6 and was insanely hopeful when they tied it up. And even when the Leafs took the lead, I still had hope.

    Going to be a good season in 2025-2026.

    I don’t think Leaf fans are expecting you guys to be freaking out.

    Leafs were the better team overall and Sens will likely be back in the playoffs next year.

    Don’t underestimate the Rangers, Jackets or Wings pushing Sens and Habs.

    I'm going to go with Tkatchuk (where he goes, the Sens go), Sanderson (blueline QB) and Stützle, though Timmy has the highest ceiling.

    As for the lost draft pick, this year's draft won't be as good as next year's, so I think we take our lumps now and give up this pick. Maybe Andlauer can tell Bettman "look, give me the last pick in the first round this year and then you don't have to hear about it again"?

    Very happy with the big steps the organization and the team took. Good coaching.Much meaningful playoffs. Some adjustments to make over the summer, but in Andlauer and Staios we trust.

    IMHO If you want Stützle to be a scorer let him play with another guy than Tkachuk. He is too often searching for Brady to make a pass. If you want him to be a "passer" let him with Brady. My PURE TALENT selection would be 1- Timmy (scorer) 2- Sanderson 3- Chabot. My MOST USEFUL PLAYERS 1- Tkachuk 2- Grieg 3- Zub.

    Stützle was our best player by far. Maybe not the most important player though, Tkachuk holds that spot with Sanderson close behind, but going forward… Timmy will be wearing all the crowns. There's no doubt about that.
