  1. What I feared from the outset. The Oilers have gotten into the Kings' heads…This series is over…Kuemper is doing his job, but I don't know if it's coaching or what, but the Kings are playing low energy hockey. And it looks like the Oilers have gotten their mojo back…

  2. I’d like to see how skinner would play behind this oilers team because the look completely different from the first 2 games.

  3. Its funny this made me wonder if any coach anywhere has been fired mid playoffs and maybe some should start frankly.

  4. The Kings were not themselves in this game. Yes, the Oilers played well. But the mistakes & over coaching in the 2 games in Edmonton have obviously created tension within the Kings.

  5. If the Oiler's end this in game 6, that goalie interference challenge from Hiller will go down as one of the worst coaching decisions in playoff history

  6. It was total domination by the Oilers, even the zebras couldn't save the Kings ( they sure tried, the officiating was an embarrassment to the league)

  7. Refs were kinda blind tonight. Not seeing the LA player put his hand on the puck in the crease when hes looking right at him.

  8. The kings looked tired from the opening face off last night. Hiller only rolling 3 lines has come back to bite them. The big thing going for the kings in this series was their depth, but that isn't an advantage if you don't use it. Looks like it's going to be another year of looking into the bottom of my whiskey glass for the rest of the playoffs cursing Rob and jim for not getting it done

  9. Kuemper has been peppered and scored on a lot, but when he finally gets a .950+ on 45 shots but pickard also gets a .950+ on only 21 shots, Kuemper has to be dejected. He's the reason that game was not 9-1

  10. Oilers are set up to WIN in game 6 . . . should that not happen, however . . . look out. It's sad that the series that shall not be named shows the zero confidence in Toronto. I am not a fan of Toronto, particularly, but the doubt is brutal, even how it looks from Calgary.

  11. After the Oilers finish off the Kings, it all goes back to that goal challenge epic fail. LA has looked weak since then and Edmonton in full control. Well maybe next year Kings. Maybe take notes about goalie interference from all the other challenges as in, unless the goalie's head is taken off its probably not going to interference. There goes my bracket.

  12. Regardless of how this series turns out, I think it's pretty safe to say that Skinner has started his last playoff game for the Oilers, barring an injury to Pickard.

  13. The Oilers are a strange team. Every season, every playoffs, they start slow and drive their fans nuts. Then they hit a switch and become a juggernaut. That switch has been pressed and they look like a whole new team.

  14. I am not sure any team is better at gaining and regaining momentum in a series than the Oilers. They looked out in Game 3. I wondered if they would find the switch before it was too late.

  15. Cant remember how many it was, but Oilers had this problem in the late 90's against Modano's Stars. Maybe it wasnt as many as 4….but it sure felt like Groundhog Day for a number of years.

  16. It's not over, but it sure feels like it. Just a disappointing game all around. All credit to the Oilers, they came to play. What a friggin gut punch this game was. WAKE UP KONGS!

  17. My friend is a die hard kings fans, I am a flames fan…. he truly dislikes the Oilers more than I do and I honestly fully understand it.
