Kelly's right. 1C is more important than 1D for this team right now. We need Misa over Schaefer. Also Misa > Schaefer. I trust a full season of greatness over 17 games
I think we’ve all got some sort of collective false memory of tocchet as like solely an asshole enforcer. Like if Tie Domi was a Flyer.
The dude had 6 30+ goal seasons playing through the trap era, and several more in the high 20s. I think we remember him as cranky fourth liner guy because that’s what he was when he came back for his last 2 seasons with the flyers in the early 2000s, when he was like 37 years old.
Yeah he was feisty and racked up some pims, but this was not a guy without offensive talent.
I think I’d still prefer Shaw just for what this team is right now (young, moldable, and tired of torts) but I’d by no means be upset if tocchet wants to come here

It depends on what your team needs! If you're looking for a dominant defenseman who can control the game from the back end, Schaefer is the guy. But if you need a game-changing forward with elite offensive skills, Misa is a fantastic choice……….🤔🤔🤔🤔
Kelly adds nothing to this show. All she wants to do is treat these players who have proved nothing like they are the greatest players on the NHL. I love when Charlie just shuts her down with her ridiculous stances.
