Igor, the Russian machines never break! You laid a few eggs this year and the team certainly left you high and dry but. You’re still my fav player outside of Quickie. Literally my dream goalies on my fav team.
Has anyone noticed that the Rangers collapse began with his turning down a massive contract which forced Trouba out. Shesterkin is too soft & inconsistent to be worth 92 million dollars. This contract will be an albatross around the team's neck for years to come.
The Rangers this year definitely lacked tenacity to comeback down from behind. They had that in the 23/24 season.

My last comment hurt Igors feelings so it was deleted. It doesn't change the fact that once this guy got paid he took the money and disappeared for weeks at a time. He and Laff took their money and ran. I would explore trading Igor before his NTC kicks in.
One of the two people that should take zero blame for this season. The other one is Jonathan Quick. I just hope this team doesn't hang him out to dry like they did Hank and never get him a cup.

He was NEVER the best in the world. Never even the best in the NHL. He is top 4 at best. The two Florida goalies are better, as is Hellybuk in Wpg.
Way too inconsistent. It’s fine to steal a game in which the team was outplayed, but then to give away a game the next night when NYR was the better team – not helpful.
PS: Drury is a disaster, and has to be fired – or this team will go nowhere.
