4-2 Avs. Game winner from Landy!
All sh*t talking aside, this has been a great series, and you can love it whether you're a homer or just a lover of the game.
Refs have sucked for everyone, crazy WTF goals all around, OT thrillers, the return of Babe Landeskog and him potting a biscuit.
The Rantanen storyline, The Nichushkin storyline, Duchene etc.
The Avs came in technically as underdogs based on the season, but were betting favorites due to Dallas’s unfortunate injuries and rough end to the season.
This WAS the best series of the first round, and potentially of the entire playoffs.
Hats off to Dallas. Real ones knew they were better than they looked at the end of the season, but I genuinely thought Avs in 6 for this one.
DAL has played great all things considered, and the “DAL/DeBoer over AVS/Bednar in the playoffs” storyline might live on.. after yet another Game 7 between them.
Oh, and did I mention the rabid fans on both sides?
Gotta love the drama.
