  1. 3:00 talking about that Perron goal, Wyatt Johnston scored an even more disgustingly cursed goal against the Avs in game 5 within 9 seconds of it starting, I think that really made me feel more okay with the Perron goal cause at least I had already seen it once this playoffs.

  2. As a real person and a 33 year old and 33 year leaf fanatic. We have Florida. It's gonna be insane. But be realistic we will loose some games

  3. Im confused, so Joe Bowen isnt as good as you guys when it comes to radio play by play? You trippen or perhaps I missed something here? lol Time stamp: 1:49

  4. The Leafs have survived the round 1 choke
now they must deal with the defending champions that are obviously back in form.
everyone including me expected Tampa to win that series.

Really looking forward to Vegas, Edmonton.
Cheering for Winnipeg and the all Canadian western final.
But yes….Cheering for the Leafs for an all Canadian cup.
    🙂
    sorry leafs
    Go Jets

  5. Steve… now you really need to get a Witch Doctor or a "qualified" Exorcist to help the Leafs prepare for the Panthers. That team is nasty and it has… the wrong Brad on ice. That same Brad who's been ordained by the Dark Hockey Gods to make the Leafs suffer. Blame the Bruin's organization. They made this happen.

This series will be a mini-NHL Armageddon on Ice. The Leafs enjoy some skills advantages and have a slight size by committee advantage. Not unlike the Lightning. That comparison is moot now. The Panthers have psychos on skates. The Panthers simply out smarted, out played, out hit, and then out gooned the Lightning. The type of players Paul Maurice use to, jokingly, call criminals on skates. That accumulated roster of criminals on skates is facing the Leafs. The worst case scenario.

Paul Maurice is a gifted hockey mind even with the personality quirks.

The Panthers might obliterate the Leafs. I'm hoping they don't. I'm expecting the worse and hoping for the best; with the help of the Hockey Gods. Without the help of the Hockey Gods the Leafs will get crushed.

The Leafs will need the intervention of the Hockey Gods to win this series. I'm a Leaf fan and the numbers don't lie. After the numbers it's luck and divine intervention. Much like that six player rebound puck thing that ended up in a net. I can't even remember what game it happened in because it was unbelievable. I'm still not sure if that was a glitch in the Matrix or if someone slipped me a hit after they spiked my coffee.

  6. Shout out to the leafs, I hope you take the cup home! I know the sens will be better next year, I hope we get this matchup again!

  7. Anyone else get deja-vu from the first part of this video? I don't know what it is, but I feel like I've heard this before, and this isn't a joke

  8. Thankfully I was a brilliant 8 year old in 1979. I asked my Grandfather which WHL team to cheer for because I was sick of being a Leaf's fan and he told me the Oilers. Cheered for them until 99 was traded, then followed his teams until 1999 when 99 retired and then picked Dallas from then on! It was a great 1st year with them!

  9. The next round will be fascinating – because I can't really tell if Florida really is that beastly good, or if Tampa were just not there at all (probably a mix of both).

  10. Steve. I've been watching and listening to you for more than half the time you've been doing LFR. For me, you are up there with Joe Bowan, and that says a lot. You are the best there was, the best there is and THE BEST THERE EVER WILL BE! GO Leafs Go.

  11. Hey Steve, you under reacted for game 5…. I was hoping for more from you given the circumstance, try harder 😂

  12. Very entertaining game . Ottawa played a great series as the underdog. Leafs finally got the monkey off their back with Pacioretty filling the hole when Ottawa tied it at two.

Can't wait for the next series, will the Leafs finally make it out of the Atlantic? I doubt it very much!

  13. Chris Taney first star for the leafs. Sens fan here and he was the only player I hated seeing on the ice during the series.

  14. Okay, since Steve is a big WWE fan. What should be done for Steve next year to commemorate this historic event of doing LFR's for half of his life…is do a segment that Mick Foley and the Rock did. Where Mick did a "This is your life" of the rock. Sizzle reals of his best moments in LFRs? Or maybe do a more heart warming to his early days to what he has accomplished….I think this would be GREAT.

  15. Hey guys, do you remember the cursed goal by Bob Nevin on Jacques Plante in overtime in the 1971 playoffs? Of course you don't. How about a little love for those of us who have suffered through every cursed thing that has happened to the Leafs since the last time we won. Yes, I have seen the Leafs win. I only hope I get to see them win in colour!!! With love from the Metro Manila Maple Leaf Maniacs, keep up the great commentary but don't forget that for some of us, your pain is exponentially worse.💙💙💙💙💙💙

  16. Bruins fan here. I was hoping and praying for a Leafs choke lol BUT I'm happy for you guys because you're a lot of fun to watch and you deserve a little hockey joy for once.

  17. So… not counting last night's goal, Pacioretty by himself has 3X as many NHL series clincher as the rest of the Leafs combined…

  18. What do we all think about Florida? Are Leafs massive dogs, or what? I actually don't mind their chances. People talk about Florida being the better team? Well, I think Toronto has grown so much since we last met the Panthers, seriously. Think of our defense, for starters. We have added players like Tanev, Brandon Carlo, OEL. We have a keeper who has a SV% over 6 games of less than 2 GAA. We have TWO qualified goalies, if injuries should occur (cross your fingers — Stolarz has been a revelation. And if he doesn't get voted for one of the best goalies of the year, it's only because he missed so many games, but more so because he split the net with Woll). Our forwards are doing well. The first 3 lines are good, line four with Domi, McMann and Holmberg are gonna get caved in. I hope they don't see more than 10 minutes a night. But Laughton has also been a tremendously rewarding surprise, line two was very effective, Nylander getting 3 points. Pacioretty got 2 points. I dunno. This is gonna be good. Does Stolarz outplay Bobrovsky? I mean, Stolarz had a better season. Straight up. I like Toronto. If I was better my house, I don't think I could, not for Toronto.

  19. I think jarnkrok is flying under the radar because of how hard he works and he does not turn the puck over in bad spots on the ice

  20. I love dangles passion about the leafs because it is true from the heart because iam turning 48 this year and iam a true leafs fan since I was 13 years old that was passed down from my father that is now 75 go leafs go just when lord Stanley once before I die
