  1. I hope that Ryan Warsofsky can find a way for Sharks not to finish last again next season, or keep falling behind their competitors by taking baby steps forward but not giant steps. UFAs could be added or not depending on the bidding wars for choice players next summer, but I think that Mike Grier will be conservative and not overpay for a veteran star. So I would expect more middle of the pack UFAs to be added on defence. I still hope for a return of Brent Burns so that he could mentor young defencemen and retire as a Shark. Adding Burns alone would guarantree that they would not be last in goals against again. I expect Grier to try to add one UFA forward and one UFA defenceman to the roster and then rely on his large prospect pool to try out new faces and develop role players. Burns could be a captain for 2 years and then pass on the torch to Celebrini in 2027.

  2. Hey Brodie and Coach,
Interesting conversation. Coach thank you for sticking with it and keeping your guys focused. That cannot have been easy. I am excited to see the next chapter for you and the Sharks Coach and look forward to seeing what kind of a roster Mike Grier puts together for you and your staff and returning players.

There are brighter days ahead and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel Coach but, I keep a book of grudges I am good like that. hahaha All of those teams that put one on us here and there for the last two seasons I took names and numbers. hahaha Looking forward to your next season Coach. All the best at the World's with team USA!

Thanks Brodie for another cool conversation.
