Never forget that the Habs are only in the third year of the rebuild. They are not even supposed to be there yet; they are competing with one of the best teams in the East. The experience is priceless right now and only shows that the future is promising

They are still a couple years away from perennial contention. Anything they do this year is just building on experience. There isn't a sane Habs fan that can get upset at them for not moving on to the second round.

Biron is a nice guy, but his voice sucks in any language. Bell Canada keeps paying him, & they cut most contracts. So, he must have hidden pics & vids of higher-up ownership. There are less employees every few months.
Montreal is on the road for game 5. Home team gets to match lines. Carbery went into extensive detail about line matching in his recent press conference. You keep talking about Wilson but the real key to G5 is PLD. His shutdown line will be matched against Suzuki for Game 5.
Habs have played hard every game but it just seems like Caps are just a better and more poised team. Caps did in game 4 what Habs couldnt do in game 1. Steal a game on the road when you are down in the 3rd and the other team has all the momentum.

Not this year. Maybe they’ll win in Washington but not 3 in a row against the best in the east. Everyone was picking them to be bottom 5 again. But it’s only up from here.
Carbs is a great coach. He said the Caps would adjust to the amount of shots allowed 5v5 and the team responded. Personally I think the Capitals have another gear they Havnt even shifted into yet. I don’t think Ovechkin got that record on his own. I think the team said we’re good enough to get this guy 40 and they did just that.

I’ll say the same thing I said in December when the Habs were tied for last place, we got em right where we want em.
I'm sure the Capitals know they're playing against a team who's running on house money. Makes me wonder why HABS don't give Reinbacher a shot. Either way, HABS nation should be excited.
Not this year, it’s good for the young guys to have a feel of the playoffs that will make them more hungry next year.
