  1. Rangers fans are worn out after such a disappointing season. While the new coaching hire brings a welcome breath of fresh air, there’s still a lot of work ahead. The players need to be held accountable and come back ready to grind. Leave the excuses, emotions, and sense of entitlement at the door when they return to the Garden. Step up and bring the fight next season—this is the New York Rangers!

  2. Joe M. Is a class act. The best thing about this hire is that the G.M. probably won't sabotage the teams chances for next year during this off season. Has Drury taken any responsibility for his big mouth or learned anything from last season's debacle? Trade who you want but do it privately like a pro team.

  3. Pens fan here, but also watch the Rangers. Sully is a class act and should be good for any remaining issues in the locker room. Whether they can play Sully’s uptempo, demanding style — the Pens couldn’t anymore — remains an issue.

  4. Sullivan won 2 cups with 2 of the best players in the world (at the time) and hasn't done squat since. He will be gone in 2 years. Our roster stinks. We will not be able to turn it around until Drury is gone! He should have been fired too!

  5. Oh nevermind you mentioned it last 3 mins lol. Personally I thought it was classy of Joe to not step on Sam's moment last year. I can see why he didn't want to do it next year too with the centenial. So really stand up on his part. Wish he had a few more years in him and he coulda gotten his own retirement tour. Wish him nothing but the best, Joe's been a fixture in my ear for 19 years, nearly half my life. Rangers are going to be so different next year, change happens, but it's weird that I'm getting old enough to notice

  6. Sully's been given a contract for both what he's done and what he will BUILD. His team won't be built on one offseason. Quick fixes don't work in sports [unless the talent is alreadt assembled like the Bucs from Dungy to Gruden]. We will see positive change. The rink rot, misdirection, and entitlement era is over.

  7. No brainer so easy for Drury. He's a great fit and will change the environment and mindset immediately. He's the Alpha in the room. Everybody else just get in line or get out.

  8. Thanks so much for the emergency pod. But most of all nice to see you all smiling and optimistic. Was only a week ago we were all in the dumps. Looking forward to the roster reshape and next season. LGR!
