Oilers seemed to play a more solid style of defense in game 5. It stifled the Kings forecheck which is key to creating scoring chances in this offense. Can’t believe no one asked Hiller about that, or how the Kings can solve it.
We only need to interview 1 player. #11. And that interview, if it took place, should have been short and shut down. Kopi should have been a jerk, looked uncomfortable, and he should have been angry. But because he is NEVER any of those things is why we lose this series. We don’t have a leader.

Kopistar tonight is going to demonstrate or not that as the team captain he can make and complete plays. He must shoot whenever possible rather than pass off and nothing good happens.
Does Kopistar really wants this game? So far, in 5 games, he isn’t showing playoff urgency and grinding for puck control.
Kopistar has avoided checking McDavid and Draisaitl. He has delegated defending those two to others. So Kopistar floats around in the perimeter and essentially not mixing it up front in the thick of the battles.
Bottomline is to shoot plenty of rubber at Pickford for 60 minutes. Jam in rebounds.
The first 10 minutes will probably indicate if the Kings are laying down and rolling over ready to lose.

Drew & Hiller will both be gone next season. Suprisingly, Moore has been one of our best players in the playoffs.
